On March 16, the College of Communication (COC), together with the Center for Community Excellence and Linkages (CCEL), brings joy and laughter at New Era Elementary School for โNEU C.A.R.E.S. For Young Readers.โ
The event aims to highlight the importance of reading to the students. It was attended by learners from Kindergarten to Grade 3. A storytelling was shown, accompanied by cutesy play of actors on stage.
It was a kick-off event that hopefully starts the journey of students in reading. A mobile library was donated by NEU C.A.R.E.S to the school to further enhance the studentsโ reading skills and literacy.

The Department of ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฎ๐ด๐ฒ๐บ๐ฒ๐ป๐ successfully held its ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐ ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ last May 7, 2026, at the School of Management, Room 504. With the theme "๐๐๐๐ง๐ฃ ๐๐ฎ ๐ฟ๐ค๐๐ฃ๐," students gathered to level up their branding and graphic design skills. The program opened with inspiring ๐ข๐ฝ๐ฒ๐ป๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ฅ๐ฒ๐บ๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ธ๐ from our ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐ ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐๐ถ๐ฑ๐ฒ๐ป๐, ๐ ๐. ๐๐ถ๐บ๐ฏ๐ฒ๐ฟ๐น๐ ๐๐น๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ถ๐๐๐ฒ ๐. ๐๐๐ฏ๐ฎ๐. ๐๐
The first half featured an exclusive ๐ฆ๐ฒ๐๐๐ถ๐ผ๐ป ๐น๐ฒ๐ฑ ๐ฏ๐ ๐ฆ๐ถ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ฟ๐ถ๐ฐ๐ธ ๐๐ฎ๐ป ๐. ๐๐ฎ๐๐๐๐ถ๐ป๐ผ, who shared expertise on ๐๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ป๐ฑ๐ถ๐ป๐ด ๐ถ๐ป ๐๐ต๐ฒ ๐๐ถ๐ด๐ถ๐๐ฎ๐น ๐๐ด๐ฒ and explored exciting ๐๐ฎ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฒ๐ฟ ๐ฃ๐ฎ๐๐ต๐ in the industry. For the second half, the session turned into an ๐๐ป๐๐ฒ๐ฟ๐ฎ๐ฐ๐๐ถ๐๐ฒ ๐ช๐ผ๐ฟ๐ธ๐๐ต๐ผ๐ฝ guided by ๐ก๐๐๐ ๐ ๐๐ฑ๐ & ๐ฃ๐ฟ๐ผ๐บ๐ผ ๐๐ถ๐ฟ๐ฒ๐ฐ๐๐ผ๐ฟ, ๐ก๐ผ๐๐ฒ๐น๐น๐ฎ ๐๐๐ฎ๐ป๐ป ๐. ๐๐น๐ผ๐ป๐๐ผ. Participants opened their gadgets to design their own posters, and everyone turned their dream business ideas into professional outputs! ๐จ๐

Day 2 of Marketing Week 2026 became a showcase of both knowledge and innovation as two major events unfolded back-to-back on May 6, 2026. ๐๐๐ก
The day began with the much-anticipated Marketing Quiz Bee 2026 at SOM 308, where participants battled through intense rounds that tested their knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork. Guided by this yearโs theme, โOnce Upon a Marketing Week: The Beginning of a Legacy,โ the competition highlighted the brilliance, speed, and determination of Marketing students as only the Top 3 Teams advanced to the thrilling Final Round. ๐๐
The event opened with inspiring remarks from NEJMA President Kimberly Clarisse Gubat, reminding every participant that they are not just students, but future leaders and innovators of the marketing industry. ๐๏ธโจ
Following the Quiz Bee, the excitement continued through the Marketing Fair and Product Innovation Exhibit led by the 1st Year Marketing Management students. Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit filled the venue as students proudly showcased their innovative products, business concepts, and marketing ideas. Their hard work paid off as every group successfully sold out their products โ a true testament to their strategic planning, creativity, and marketability. ๐๏ธ๐โจ
From strategy and competition to innovation and real-world selling success, Day 2 truly embodied the spirit of Marketing Week 2026 โ a celebration of talent, passion, and the beginning of a growing legacy. ๐
This successful chapter was made possible through the unwavering support and guidance of Dr. Lorna C. Bouing, NEJMA Coordinator, whose mentorship continues to inspire excellence within the department. ๐

CELEBRATING THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR FUTURE BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS
On May 09, 2026, the College of Business Administration proudly held its Recognition Ceremony at the University Hall, honoring students for their excellence, perseverance, and dedication throughout the Academic Year 2025โ2026.
The ceremony became even more meaningful through the inspirational message delivered by Mr. Romulo I. Delos Reyes Jr., who encouraged the students to pursue their aspirations with passion, determination, and integrity as they prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead.
Certificates of recognition were awarded to the Presidentโs and Deanโs Listers from the fourth-year students of the six academic programs under the College of Business Administration: BSBA Marketing Management, BSBA Financial Management, BSBA Legal Management, BSBA Human Resource Development Management, BS Real Estate Management, and BS Entrepreneurship.
These awards were conferred by the College Dean, Dr. Isagani T. Sabado, together with the Collegeโs Overseeing Minister, Bro. Jun Centeno, and the CBA Program CoordinatorsโDr. Lorna C. Bouing, Dr. Eleanor C. Mabasa, Atty. Ariel D. Lladones, Prof. Mark C. Malabuyoc, Prof. Geraldine D. Salenga, and Dr. Bernie Balmeo.
In addition, Service and Leadership Awards were presented to student leaders from various organizations within the College of Business Administration in recognition of their dedication, leadership, and valuable contributions to their respective departments and organizations.
Faculty members, parents, and fellow students gathered to celebrate this memorable occasion and recognize the hard work and commitment of every awardee. It served as a reminder that success is achieved through discipline, resilience, and continuous growth.
