On March 16, the College of Communication (COC), together with the Center for Community Excellence and Linkages (CCEL), brings joy and laughter at New Era Elementary School for “NEU C.A.R.E.S. For Young Readers.”

The event aims to highlight the importance of reading to the students. It was attended by learners from Kindergarten to Grade 3. A storytelling was shown, accompanied by cutesy play of actors on stage.

It was a kick-off event that hopefully starts the journey of students in reading. A mobile library was donated by NEU C.A.R.E.S to the school to further enhance the students’ reading skills and literacy.

𝐖𝐑𝐈𝐓𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐑𝐘, 𝐁𝐔𝐈𝐋𝐃𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐎𝐔𝐑 𝐋𝐄𝐆𝐀𝐂𝐘 ✨📖

The Department of 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 successfully held its 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 last May 7, 2026, at the School of Management, Room 504. With the theme "𝙇𝙚𝙖𝙧𝙣 𝙗𝙮 𝘿𝙤𝙞𝙣𝙜," students gathered to level up their branding and graphic design skills. The program opened with inspiring 𝗢𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗥𝗲𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗸𝘀 from our 𝗡𝗘𝗝𝗠𝗔 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗱𝗲𝗻𝘁, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗞𝗶𝗺𝗯𝗲𝗿𝗹𝘆 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗲 𝗚. 𝗚𝘂𝗯𝗮𝘁. 💚🌟

The first half featured an exclusive 𝗦𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗹𝗲𝗱 𝗯𝘆 𝗦𝗶𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗸 𝗝𝗮𝗻 𝗟. 𝗙𝗮𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗼, who shared expertise on 𝗕𝗿𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗶𝗴𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗔𝗴𝗲 and explored exciting 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗣𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘀 in the industry. For the second half, the session turned into an 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 guided by 𝗡𝗘𝗝𝗠𝗔 𝗔𝗱𝘀 & 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗺𝗼 𝗗𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿, 𝗡𝗼𝘂𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗮 𝗗𝘆𝗮𝗻𝗻 𝗕. 𝗔𝗹𝗼𝗻𝘇𝗼. Participants opened their gadgets to design their own posters, and everyone turned their dream business ideas into professional outputs! 🎨🚀

As one of the 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 of 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲, the workshop became a space where creativity, innovation, and learning came together to inspire future marketers to make their mark in the digital world. ✨

This productive event was made possible under the guidance of 𝗗𝗿. 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗻𝗮 𝗖. 𝗕𝗼𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗴, 𝗡𝗘𝗝𝗠𝗔 𝗖𝗼𝗼𝗿𝗱𝗶𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿. We are truly grateful for her constant guidance and support, which continues to inspire the entire Marketing Management team to reach new heights. ✨

Day 3 of 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗲𝗲𝗸 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 proved that every great legacy begins with creativity, passion, and the courage to learn by doing. 🏰 Congratulations to everyone who participated and showcased their ideas with confidence! ✨📍

Day 2 of Marketing Week 2026 became a showcase of both knowledge and innovation as two major events unfolded back-to-back on May 6, 2026. 🌟📚💡

The day began with the much-anticipated Marketing Quiz Bee 2026 at SOM 308, where participants battled through intense rounds that tested their knowledge, critical thinking, and teamwork. Guided by this year’s theme, “Once Upon a Marketing Week: The Beginning of a Legacy,” the competition highlighted the brilliance, speed, and determination of Marketing students as only the Top 3 Teams advanced to the thrilling Final Round. 🔔🏆

The event opened with inspiring remarks from NEJMA President Kimberly Clarisse Gubat, reminding every participant that they are not just students, but future leaders and innovators of the marketing industry. 🎙️✨

Following the Quiz Bee, the excitement continued through the Marketing Fair and Product Innovation Exhibit led by the 1st Year Marketing Management students. Creativity and entrepreneurial spirit filled the venue as students proudly showcased their innovative products, business concepts, and marketing ideas. Their hard work paid off as every group successfully sold out their products — a true testament to their strategic planning, creativity, and marketability. 🛍️🚀✨

From strategy and competition to innovation and real-world selling success, Day 2 truly embodied the spirit of Marketing Week 2026 — a celebration of talent, passion, and the beginning of a growing legacy. 🌟

This successful chapter was made possible through the unwavering support and guidance of Dr. Lorna C. Bouing, NEJMA Coordinator, whose mentorship continues to inspire excellence within the department. 💛

CELEBRATING THE ACHIEVEMENTS OF OUR FUTURE BUSINESS PROFESSIONALS

On May 09, 2026, the College of Business Administration proudly held its Recognition Ceremony at the University Hall, honoring students for their excellence, perseverance, and dedication throughout the Academic Year 2025–2026.

The ceremony became even more meaningful through the inspirational message delivered by Mr. Romulo I. Delos Reyes Jr., who encouraged the students to pursue their aspirations with passion, determination, and integrity as they prepare for the opportunities and challenges ahead.

Certificates of recognition were awarded to the President’s and Dean’s Listers from the fourth-year students of the six academic programs under the College of Business Administration: BSBA Marketing Management, BSBA Financial Management, BSBA Legal Management, BSBA Human Resource Development Management, BS Real Estate Management, and BS Entrepreneurship.

These awards were conferred by the College Dean, Dr. Isagani T. Sabado, together with the College’s Overseeing Minister, Bro. Jun Centeno, and the CBA Program Coordinators—Dr. Lorna C. Bouing, Dr. Eleanor C. Mabasa, Atty. Ariel D. Lladones, Prof. Mark C. Malabuyoc, Prof. Geraldine D. Salenga, and Dr. Bernie Balmeo.

In addition, Service and Leadership Awards were presented to student leaders from various organizations within the College of Business Administration in recognition of their dedication, leadership, and valuable contributions to their respective departments and organizations.

Faculty members, parents, and fellow students gathered to celebrate this memorable occasion and recognize the hard work and commitment of every awardee. It served as a reminder that success is achieved through discipline, resilience, and continuous growth.

Physiotherapy Colloquium 2026

The College of Physical Therapy cordially invites everyone to its annual Physiotherapy Colloquium which will be held on May 19, 2026 at the Professional Schools Building.

This culminating academic event is aimed to showcase student research and research-based initiatives through plenary and poster presentations that promote scholarly discourse contributing to the advancement of evidence-based physical therapy practice and professional development.
