Two Eagles making Philippine volleyball history! 🇵🇭🏐

Two members of the Ateneo Girls Volleyball Team, Resty Olaguir (11-Moscoso) and Jhenica Sadia (11-Wright), took the court for the Alas Pilipinas U17 Girls’ Volleyball Team in the 2026 FIVB Volleyball Girls’ U17 World Championship in Chile, finishing 15th Overall last 16 August.

This historic campaign opened a new chapter for Philippine volleyball, with Alas Pilipinas making its world championship debut. OBF, Resty and Jhenica!

Please be advised that the Ateneo JHS & SHS Varsity Badminton Tryouts scheduled for tomorrow, Tuesday, 18 August, are cancelled as AJHS and ASHS will shift to online modality.

In anticipation of adverse weather conditions continuing until tomorrow, the ASHS will be on online modality tomorrow, Tuesday, 18 August 2026.

Please be guided by the following:

1. If the weather permits and internet connectivity is not compromised, we will be following the synchronous mode, with students reporting online to their respective Google classrooms following the Tuesday schedule. There will be no more MIP session.

2. Otherwise, if internet connectivity cannot be assured, students should check their Google classrooms and wait for instructions from their subject teachers regarding asynchronous tasks.

Reminders for the rest of the week:

1. August 19, Wednesday is a school holiday, Quezon City Day.

2. August 20, Thursday will be an Online Day, we will be having Synchronous classes.

3. August 21, Friday is a national holiday, Ninoy Aquino Day.

In light of the QC LGU’s announcement for the suspension of face-to-face classes in the afternoon, the ASHS will be suspending classes from 11:00 a.m. onwards. Students are just advised to continue their previously assigned tasks from last week.
