Mechanics and other details of the contest

Calling all students from Grades 4 to 12 of Chinese schools to participate in Ateneo Celadon's Strokes: Chinese Calligraphy and Arts Competition!

This is where YOU, students from various Chinese-Filipino schools, can engage yourselves in a friendly competition to showcase your skills and talents in Chinese calligraphy and art!

A student is only allowed to participate in 1 of the 3 categories:
CATEGORY A: Elementary Arts Division (open to Grades 4, 5, 6 only)

CATEGORY B: High School Arts Division (open to Grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 only)
CATEGORY C: High School Calligraphy Division (open to Grades 7, 8, 9, 10, 11, 12 only)

Mechanics for ARTS (Category A and B):
1. Students are required to bring their own art materials. Oil pastel, color pencil, and crayons may be used as mediums. Any form of paint is NOT allowed.
2. The formal paper to be used in the contest will be provided. Students may bring their own paper for practice.

Mechanics for CALLIGRAPHY (Category C):
1. Students are required to bring their own calligraphy brush and ink. Self-inking or ultra-thin brushes are NOT allowed.
2. Participants are NOT allowed to bring a copy book or guide.
3. The formal paper to be used in the contest will be provided. Students may bring their own paper for practice.

Early Bird Registration Fee: P100.00 (messaging the FB page will count as an early bird!)
Walk-in Registration Fee: P120.00

*Both fees are to be paid on the day of the event upon registration!*
