DreamWorks Animation’s Forgotten Island marks a major moment for Filipino representation: a major Hollywood animated feature built around Filipino folklore and mythology, brought to life with the talent of our very own kababayans. 🇵🇭

And that representation can be heard, too. 🎶

The soundtrack brings together Filipino and Filipino-American artists including Lea Salonga, H.E.R., BINI, SB19, and MIIS Alumna Sophia Laforteza of KATSEYE—putting Filipino voices, music, and culture in the global spotlight.

For our children, it’s a chance to see a piece of their heritage represented on the big screen. For families, it’s an opportunity to share the stories and culture we grew up with with a new generation.

🎟️ Make it a movie day for the whole family! Join the MIIS community for our special advance screening of Forgotten Island and celebrate this proudly Filipino moment together.

The Multiple Intelligence International School Community proudly celebrates the recognition of Ar. Gabriel Formoso as a National Artist for Architecture, the country’s highest distinction for contributions to Philippine arts and culture.

Decades after his passing, his work and vision continue to leave a lasting mark on Philippine architecture. His legacy lives on through GFP Architects, which he founded, and through the spaces and communities that his vision has helped shape, including our very own MIIS School of the Future.

We are honored to be part of a legacy that reminds us that great architecture is not simply about the spaces we build, but the possibilities, experiences, and futures we create within them.

Congratulations, Ar. Gabriel Formoso and the entire GFP Architects Community! We celebrate this well-deserved recognition and the enduring legacy he leaves behind.
