3 more public schools ang solar-powered na! โšก๏ธ
๐Ÿซ San Bartolome High School
๐Ÿซ Novaliches High School
๐Ÿซ San Agustin Elementary School
Yes to a more green and sustainable QC!

Mayor Belmonte inaugurates SBHS solar power systems, hails campus management

Mayor Joy Belmonte led the formal inauguration of the newly installed solar power systems at San Bartolome High School (SBHS) today, July 18, highlighting the campus as a model for sustainable energy and efficient school administration.

The solar panel network, structurally completed on the rooftop of the schoolโ€™s New Building, serves as part of the local government's proactive transition toward green energy in public educational spaces.

In an interview, Mayor Belmonte revealed that SBHS was prioritized for the sustainable energy program due to its structural capability and its track record as one of the city's most efficiently run institutions.

โ€œSyempre, napakahusay kasi ng school ninyo. And first, of course, maganda โ€˜yong building ninyo โ€˜no. Not all our schools can accommodate a solar electric system or solar energy system. Kasi the way the schools are built, iba-iba siya so minsan โ€˜di kaya ng school building," Mayor Belmonte said.

The local chief executive explained that the city prefers to invest resources in environments that demonstrate stellar governance and strong stakeholder cooperation.

And your principal is among the best principals that we have. And of course, the students are very supportive and so are the GPTA," she added.

Cooperating for the eventโ€™s preparation and ex*****on were the School Parent-Teacher Association (SPTA), Barangay San Bartolome officials, and the Grade Level Overall Homeroom Officers.

Student leaders and officers from various campus organizations also mobilized during the event to express support for the cityโ€™s localized climate action and green energy transition.
