In today’s Gospel, Jesus speaks of the testimony that points to who He truly is. John the Baptist bore witness to the truth, but Jesus reminds us that the greatest witness is the work given to Him by the Father. These works reveal God’s presence, love, and saving plan in action. As we begin Misa de Aguinaldo, we are invited not only to listen to testimonies about Jesus but to recognize His works in our own lives. May this early-morning journey strengthen our faith, deepen our trust in God, and lead us to become living witnesses of Christ through our daily actions.

This sacred milestone marks a deeper step in your journey of faith as you welcome Jesus into your hearts through the Holy Eucharist.

DECEMBER 8 | SOLEMNITY OF THE IMMACULATE CONCEPTION

Today we honor Mary, full of grace from the first moment of her existence—chosen by God to be the pure and holy dwelling place of His Son. Her Immaculate Conception reveals the boundless mercy of God and invites us to trust in His saving love. As we look to Mary, may we open our hearts to God’s grace, walk in holiness, and allow Christ to be formed within us.

In a special way, we greet and honor our SFIC sisters, or the Franciscan Sisters of the Immaculate Conception, as they celebrate their feast. May Mary’s purity and fidelity inspire and strengthen their mission.
