From marketing to UX design, Genica Sy proves that it’s never too late to start over and design a whole new career path.
After completing her Web Design program, Genica discovered her love for solving problems—and that led her straight into CIIT’s UI/UX Design Specialist Course. Despite being based in Cebu, learning online never stopped her from gaining real, hands-on experience. Her team’s final project, TripMo, an accessibility app for people with mobility challenges, even earned praise from industry professionals.
Now, Genica works in UX Design and has even become a keynote speaker at the UXPH Conference in Cebu—turning her leap of faith into a full-fledged career.
🚀 Whether you’re upskilling or shifting careers, CIIT’s Specialist Courses give you the tools to make it happen.
