In celebration of National Children’s Month, our staff together with the Barangay Council for the Protection of Children (BCPC) focal person conducted an important orientation for parents about Child Protection, RA 7610, and the different types of child abuse—physical, emotional, sexual, and online.
We also highlighted the urgent issue of OSAEC–OSAEM (Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children/Minors) upang mas maprotektahan ang mga bata sa internet at digital platforms.
With the support of our school, parents, and the entire community, we strengthen our commitment to end all forms of child abuse and uphold every child’s right to safety, dignity, and protection.

In celebration of Children’s Month, we honor not only the joy and innocence of every child, but also their right to protection, especially in today’s digital world.
This year’s theme, “Wakasan ang OSAEC – OSAEM: Karapatan ng Bata Ipaglaban!”, reminds us of the growing need to safeguard our children from Online Sexual Abuse and Exploitation of Children (OSAEC) and other forms of online harm. As technology continues to evolve, our responsibility to guide and protect them becomes even more important.
Today, we conducted meaningful activities that empowered our learners with knowledge on online safety—how to recognize risks, how to respond wisely, and how to protect themselves when using the internet. Through storytelling, discussions, and interactive lessons, we reinforced the message that every click matters, and every child deserves a safe space to learn, explore, and grow.
Let us continue working together—teachers, parents, and the community—to create an environment where children feel safe both offline and online. Their safety is our shared mission, and their rights are worth fighting for. 💙
