As we embrace the digital age, let us remember that technology is a powerful tool that should be used with wisdom, respect, and responsibility. The Cybercrime Prevention Act of 2012 (Republic Act No. 10175) reminds us that our actions online have real-world consequences. Cyberlibel, Cyberbullying, online scams, identity theft, hacking, and spreading false information not only violate the law but can also deeply affect the lives of others.
I encourage each of you to become responsible digital citizens. Think before you click, verify before you share, and choose kindness over cruelty. Let us use social media and the internet to inspire, educate, and uplift others rather than to harm. Together, we can create a safer, more respectful, and more secure online community.
Thank you for your time, and may we all continue to use technology responsibly. Stay informed, stay vigilant, and stay safe online.
