Grateful for the warm welcome and thoughtful hospitality extended to our visitors from New York, USA. This visit opened meaningful conversations around potential retirement homes in the Philippines for returning Filipinos seeking quality, dignity, and community in their later years. Our guests are also long time Purple Angel supporters who stood with us during the Purple Angel Philippines launch in 2023, making this visit even more special.

A sincere thank you to Ms. Charline Daweg Dominguez for personally touring our visitors and showcasing the heart, care standards, and welcoming environment of Bahay ni San Jose. Encounters like this strengthen trust, build bridges across borders, and highlight BSJ as a place where compassion, professionalism, and purpose come together.

This was the very first Purple Angel Walk in Asia, held on September 21, 2024, in observance of World Alzheimer’s Day.
A moment we will always carry in our hearts.

What made this walk truly meaningful were the people behind it. Our sincere gratitude goes to all our partners and supporters who stood with us, especially Institute for Dementia Care Asia - IDCA, Gunita Para Sa Dementia by Hi Eisai, and the Welcome Rotonda Multi Purpose Cooperative led by Charline Daweg Dominguez. Your trust, commitment, and shared purpose made this possible.

Seeing the community walk together for dementia awareness was deeply heartwarming. This was not just a walk. It was a beginning. A clear signal that Southeast Asia is ready to move, to lead, and to care together.

Looking ahead to 2026, the excitement continues to build. More participants, more partners, and more communities are already coming together. Something meaningful is still taking shape, and what lies ahead promises to be even more powerful.
