What started as a simple outreach activity turned into a meaningful day of learning, sharing, and building connections with our adopted Dumagat community at Bitbit River, Norzagaray, Bulacan.
On May 16, 2026, the MS and BS Criminology Department of Metro Manila College, together with the Criminology Action Force (CAF), Community Extension Services Office (CESO), Office of Student Affairs (OSA), MMC Red Cross Youth Council (RCYC), faculty members, and students, came together to conduct an outreach program focused on community service and social involvement.
Through the distribution of relief goods, disaster preparedness awareness, and fellowship activities, we were given the opportunity not only to serve but also to listen, learn, and share moments with the community.
This activity would not have been possible without the support and participation of everyone who dedicated their time and effort. Thank you to all volunteers, partners, and organizers for helping make this outreach program a memorable and meaningful experience.
Service becomes more meaningful when it creates genuine connections. 💙

The Criminology community extends its heartfelt gratitude and recognition to the faculty and CAF for their dedication and efforts in successfully organizing and conducting the seminar on Vice and Drugs. We also commend and thank all Criminology students from every year level who actively participated and demonstrated enthusiasm in learning.
We would like to express our sincere appreciation to our distinguished guest speaker, Mr. Apollo C. Batausa Jr., for generously sharing his time, expertise, and valuable knowledge regarding the realities and dangers of vice and illegal drugs. His discussion provided meaningful insights that helped broaden the understanding of students about the origin of drugs, different types of drugs, methods of manufacturing, patterns of usage, illegal distribution and selling, as well as effective prevention strategies. The seminar served as an important platform for future criminologists to deepen their knowledge and strengthen their sense of responsibility in promoting public safety and crime prevention.
The seminar was successfully conducted on January 30, 2026, highlighting the importance of awareness, discipline, and informed decision-making among students who aspire to serve in the criminal justice system. The message emphasized throughout the seminar, “Say no to dope, yes to hope,” reminds everyone of the importance of choosing a path that promotes a drug-free and productive future.
