THREE FILIPINO FILMS TO SCREEN AT THE 20TH ASIAN FILM FESTIVAL! Under the Spotlight: Philippines program of the Film Development Council of the Philippines (FDCP), the FDCP is pleased to announce its partnership with the Asian Film Festival for its 20th edition happening from March 30 to April 5 in Rome, Italy.

In the competition section of the festival is the lone Filipino entry "Ang Matsing at Ang Pagong" (The Monkey and The Turtle) directed by Daniel Palacio.

Brillante Mendoza's "Feast" and Lav Diaz's "When the Waves are Gone" are part of the festival's Out of Competition section.

The Spotlight: Philippines is FDCP's program which aims to promote Philippine cinema globally through partnerships with international festivals, organizations, and institutions.

Happy Holidays, everyone!

Last December 18, Batch 40 concluded their 10-day intensive workshop! 🥳

Thank you Batch 40 participants for completing the workshop! It might have been hard but we are hopeful that the lessons you have learned in class will elevate you in your respective careers. We also hope that the friendships you have formed in the workshop will be meaningful life-long connections.

To our batch 40 participants, the learning never stops! Our doors are always open whenever you need consultation on your project or a piece of advice from Bing Lao. Don’t forget to submit your thesis scripts and edit this 2023 - creating your thesis script/edit is the application to the 10-day theory workshop you have endured. See you at the consultation! 🙂

Also, we thank Batch 40 for hosting our Christmas celebration. Sir Bing was so happy to have celebrated with you all!
