Join the workshop “Crafting Korea-inspired Button Pins” on Oct. 23, Friday, 10 a.m.–12 p.m., at the PH 1321, Palma Hall, UP Diliman (UPD).

The event is presented by the UP Korea Research Center and the UPD Department of Linguistics.

The QCinema Campus ToursDay (QCinema) on Sept. 24 screened to a full house at the Pilar Herrera Hall.

Organized by the Quezon City Screen Commission - Screen QC, in partnership with the UP Diliman (UPD) College of Social Sciences and Philosophy and the Office of International Linkages Diliman (OILD), Qcinema presented four award-winning short films reflecting different local narratives: Kun’ Di Man by Phyllis Grae Grande, The River that Never Ends by JT Trinidad, Judy Free by Che Tagyamon, and RUNO! by Lysa Catolico.

Neil Martial Santillan, PhD, a professor of history at the UPD Department of History, mentioned that “film is one of the most dynamic media for cross-cultural exchange in global understanding” which echoes the mission of OILD to “build bridges between our University and the world.”

The event is organized by the UPD Department of English and Comparative Literature, in partnership with the UP Department of Arts Studies and the College of Fine Arts.

“UP Diliman (UPD) garnered a 100% passing rate as all of its 41 first time examinees from the UPD Department of Psychology succeeded the September 2026 Psychometricians Licensure Examination, with 14 landing in the Top 10.

“All 22 first time examinees of the UP Diliman Extension Programs in Pampanga and Olongapo also passed the licensure examination, for an overall total of 63 passers from UPD.”
