On December 10, 2025, Bayan Academy, in partnership with Meta and Fair Training Center, rolled out the BE WAIS AT MAGDUDA Community Guides Training of Trainers for the Cybercrime Investigation and Coordinating Center (CICC). The program aims to share with CICC with the official messaging and core principles of the Be Wais Community Guides program to raise awareness and promote prevention practices against common fraud and scams encountered by Filipinos.

More than a capacity-building session, the training fostered a collaborative exchange of knowledge and experiences. Bayan Academy also gained valuable insights from CICC participants, who shared real-life cases and experiences from individuals seeking assistance for scam-related incidents.

This collaborative, two-way learning strengthened the program and reaffirmed a shared commitment to safer digital spaces, empowering Filipinos to be Wais, Magduda, at Maging Ligtas.

On December 9, 2025, Bayan Academy, in partnership with Meta and the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), kicked off the BIDA Meta AIccelerate 2025 Mentorship Program and Intermediate Digital Marketing Session with the selected 11 MSMEs from BIDA Meta AI Batch 1 to 4.

This year, the program advances to intermediate digital marketing modules, integrating Meta’s AI-powered technologies to help businesses become more agile, efficient, and responsive to evolving market trends. As microenterprises face increasing demands for digital transformation, building a secure online presence and effectively reaching target customers are now essential drivers of sustainable growth in today’s digital economy.

Together, we continue to empower MSMEs with future-ready skills, turning digital innovation into real business impact and inclusive growth.

We’ve officially rolled out the Be Wais Community Guides in Caloocan!

With the Cooperative Development and Coordinating Office of the LGU, we brought together the city’s cooperatives to equip them with the knowledge and skills to recognize, avoid, and act against fraudulent activities in today’s digital landscape. 💻🌏

The Be Wais Community Guides program builds on our larger campaign: Be Wais at Magduda - empowering communities to stay informed, vigilant, and aware of online scams and digital risks.

Thank you to the City of Caloocan and its Cooperative Development and Coordinating Office for championing digital security and community resilience with us!

We hope that through this initiative, the community is better equipped to stay safe, vigilant, and discerning online.

Today marks the MOU Signing between Bayan Academy, the Online Negosyo Empowerment Community, and the MBP Learning Club.

The agreement was signed by Ms. Anna Magkawas, Convenor of Online Negosyo and MBP Learning Club; Mr. Raffy G. Canare, Co-Convenor; Mr. Luke S. Orbos, Executive Director of Bayan Academy; and Ms. Jodie Sanvictores, Senior Program Manager.

This partnership aims to empower their beneficiaries to further advance the digitalization of their online businesses. Through this collaboration, participants will join the BIDA Meta AIccelerate Training 2025 Program, where they will progress to intermediate digital modules.

The program will introduce Meta’s AI-powered technologies to MSMEs across the Philippines, supporting entrepreneurs in staying agile, competitive, and ready for the latest trends.
