Being in this industry for years made me realize one thing:

Communication can make or break a workplace.

May concern? Say it. Huwag hayaang maging silent beef.

Mukhang hindi mo maaabot ang deadline? Be transparent. Mas madaling solusyunan ang problema kaysa manghula ang buong team.

May hindi naintindihan? Ask.

May nagawang mali? Own it.

Good communication isn't about talking all the time. It's about creating clarity, building trust, and solving problems before they become bigger.

At the end of the day, teams don't fall apart because people are imperfect. They fall apart when people stop communicating.

One practice shared by Yari really stayed with me.

Akala natin bilang leader, kailangan tayo ang unang magsalita.

Pero what if the better move is to listen first?

A simple "What do you think?" can change the entire conversation.

Kasi kapag naramdaman ng team na safe silang magsalita, mas lumalabas ang ideas, perspectives, at solutions.

When leaders listen first, trust grows.

And when trust grows, better ideas follow.

Pero understanding is still created by people.

That's why communication is becoming one of the most valuable future skills.

Hindi ito tungkol sa accent.

Hindi rin ito tungkol sa malalalim na vocabulary.

It's about helping people understand what truly matters.
