UP Geomatics Alumni Association congratulates UP Department of Geodetic Engineering Chairperson Dr. Ayin M. Tamondong for being recognized as the Most Outstanding GE of the Year in the Academe by GEP NCR. The award was given during the 36th GEP NCR Annual Regional Convention held on 19-20 March 2026 in Manila.

This prestigious recognition honors Dr. Tamondong’s exceptional contributions to geodetic engineering education, research, and service. Her work in advancing geospatial science, remote sensing, and resource mapping has significantly strengthened both academic instruction and practical applications of geodetic engineering in the Philippines.
