𝙇𝙊𝙊𝙆 | On 11 March 2026, the Student Senate convened Senate Session 001-2026 to deliberate, among other things, the approval of the Committee Head candidates recommended by the CSG President.
In the latest elections, there was a lack of candidates for the Executive Committee positions which made them vacant until now. Pursuant to the appointing powers of the President under Article VI, Section 11 of the MLQU Constitution, the President can appoint the executive committee heads among the presidents of each organization subject to the approval of the Student Senate.

𝑰𝑪𝒀𝑴𝑰 | On 29 October 2025, the Student Senators took their oaths of office administered by Ms. Margarette Dela Cruz, Officer-in-Charge of the Student Engagement and Services Office. Pursuant to the transitory provisions of the Provisional Constitution passed by the former Executive Board, there shall be a Student Senate to approve the new Constitution drafted by the Central Student Government President. The Student Senate is thus formed in this principle, and the new senators had pledged to dedicate their all in service of the Quezonian Community. The Student Senate is composed of the following senators:
𝘚𝘦𝘯. 𝘙𝘢𝘺𝘮𝘰𝘯𝘥 𝘓𝘶𝘪𝘴 𝘔𝘦𝘯𝘥𝘳𝘰𝘴, 𝘚𝘦𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘦 𝘗𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵;

Additionally, the Student Senate has also elected its Secretary-Generals which are Sec-Gen. Xandra Nikolai Vicencio and Deputy Sec-Gen. Mikayla Aiyanna Gaskell. This senate session focused on the deliberations of the new CSG Constitution proposed by the CSG's Constitution and By-Laws Ad Hoc Committee. The Constitution has been passed by the Senate and has been transmitted to the CSG President. These developments prove that the Quezonian studentry has the political will to set up a system that will hear their voices and give heed to their concerns; That with the support of the whole community, its faculty and the administration, no task is too heavy and no concern is too menial.
