LEARNING RECOVERY SCHEDULE | August 22, 2026, SATURDAY

Please be guided by the following arrangements for Saturday, August 22, 2026:

SYNCHRONOUS CLASSES will be conducted following a special schedule, with dismissal at 2:00 PM.

Students are encouraged to attend the 3:00 PM Holy Mass and participate in the 4:00 PM Grand Procession with their families. These activities are part of the celebration of the 6th Canonical Coronation of Our Lady of Lourdes, bringing the Lourdesian community together in prayer, faith, and devotion.

Students are advised to check their Schoology accounts for the complete schedule and other important details regarding the Learning Recovery classes.

Let us make the most of this opportunity to recover our learning while also coming together as a Lourdesian community in faith, prayer, and fellowship.

Ngayong Araw ni Quezon, nakikiisa ang Lourdes School Quezon City sa buong bansa sa paggunita sa kanyang ambag sa pagsusulong ng kalayaan at pagkakakilanlang Pilipino.

Sa panahong sinusubok tayo ng kalikasan, higit na mahalaga ang diwa ng pagkakaisa, malasakit, at pagtutulungan. Sapagkat ang pagmamahal sa bayan ay hindi lamang ipinagdiriwang—ito ay isinasabuhay, lalo na sa panahon ng pangangailangan.

Sa Lourdes School, ang diwang ito ay kaakibat ng ating paninindigan sa Holiness, Excellence, and Service — Kabanalan, Kagalingan, at Pagkakawanggawa.

Sa Kabanalan, hinuhubog natin ang pusong may malasakit at pananalig—pusong handang umunawa at tumulong sa kapwa.

Sa Kagalingan, isinasabuhay natin ang pagiging responsable, matatag, at mahusay sa anumang tungkuling ipinagkakatiwala sa atin.

ADVISORY | Class suspension for Monday, August 10

Classes at all levels and office operations will remain suspended tomorrow, Monday, August 10, in accordance with the announcement of the Quezon City local government.

Under our school’s Hinga (Check-In) Phase, please be reminded that all online classes are officially paused. Our priority is the safety and well-being of every Lourdesian and their family. Students are encouraged to check their Schoology accounts only for important announcements and updates.

May the Lord watch over every Lourdesian and their families. Through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi and our Blessed Mother, may our community remain safe and protected.

ADVISORY | Class Suspension for August 7, Friday

Classes at all levels and office operations remain suspended tomorrow, Friday, August 7, due to the continued inclement weather and in the interest of the safety and well-being of our Lourdesian community.

Students are advised to regularly check their Schoology accounts for possible asynchronous learning tasks and announcements from their teachers.

While on-site office operations are suspended, transactions with the Accounting Office and the Registrar's Office may still be made online through the school's official communication channels.

May the Lord keep every Lourdesian and their families safe. Through the intercession of St. Francis of Assisi and our Blessed Mother, may we be protected from harm. Stay safe, and Pax et Bonum.

𝗡𝗘𝗪𝗦 | New Faces of Pupil Government for School Year 2026–2027, Unveiled

The Pupil Government (PG) officially announced the newly elected student officers and Grades 4 to 6 level representatives for School Year 2026–2027 on July 22 through its adviser, Ms. Estella May De Vera.

Pupils from Grades 4 to 6 voted on July 16 to elect the PG’s new slate, and the results were presented by Ms. De Vera in a speech that emphasized the school community’s trust and the subsequent responsibility to serve with integrity and humility.

“Your fellow Lourdesians have entrusted you with the responsibility to lead and serve. We hope that you will carry out your duties with integrity, responsibility, humility, and the Franciscan spirit,” said the PG adviser.

Parents and Guardians' Guide for Synchronous Classes

1. Please prepare the following before the class
a. Laptop/ desktop/ tablet
b. Headphones/ earphones with built in microphone
c. Built - in or external camera
d. Stable internet connection

2. One Link for the Day: Your child’s Homeroom Adviser will provide a single BigBlueButton (BBB) link for the entire day. Your child will stay on this link; their subject teachers will be the ones rotating.

3. Smooth Transitions: Please ensure your child stays logged into the BBB room during school hours. Teachers will switch in and out of the virtual room from the campus computers.

4. Hardware Readiness: Kindly help your child check that their device's camera and microphone are working properly before classes start.

5. Camera-On Policy: Remind your child that keeping their camera open is required during lectures and class discussions to ensure active participation and attendance.

6. Bite-Sized Lessons: Classes are designed to be highly interactive.

7. Whole class discussions are limited, followed by live discussions and quick activities using learning apps or Google Docs.

8. Mandatory Screen Breaks: Class sessions will end 10 minutes early. Please encourage your child to stand up, stretch, and step away from the screen during this transition window before the next teacher arrives.

9. No-Stress Deadlines: To respect family time, no assignments are due on the day of the activity or over the weekend. All accomplished tasks are to be submitted in person once students return to the school, during that specific teacher's class period.

10. Technical Issues & Power Outages: In case of internet lag, brownouts, or other technical emergencies, please notify the school through the Assistant Principal for Student Affairs (APSA). Don't worry—affected students will be given consideration and fair make-up activities.

11. Proper Uniform : Students are expected to log in on time and follow the dress code. They must wear their official school PE shirt and appropriate lower garments during all live video sessions.

12. Attendance : Each subject teacher will check the attendance every period to ensure that students are attending their synchronous classes regularly. If a student is unable to attend a synchronous class due to a valid reason, they must submit an excuse letter during their next in-person class.
