Last Friday, January 10, 2024. was such a meaningful day as we held the 𝐒𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐝 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐭-𝐓𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐟𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐃𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐢𝐛𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬.

The moment they've been waiting for is here. Throughout the day, parents gathered into the DepEd Building to pick up their child's report card, a very important reflection of each individual's performance this 2nd quarter.

The meeting provided update of the students' academic performances, following the school calendar and more events to be released, as per their adviser, Mrs. Jennifer A. Taguchi. The event strengthened the collaboration between parents and teachers In guiding students towards their goals.

We're happy and thrilled to announce that Mendeleev had 5 students who got With High Honor, and 18 Students who achieved With Honor. Together, we continue to foster their academic growth on their path to excellence. Here's to celebrating more achievements in the next 2 quarters!

𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐈𝐍:

Science, Technology, Engineering (STE) Students has done an incredible skills as they were the delegates for the Robotics Training Workshop 2024 held at University of The Philippines Diliman today, December 14, 2024.

Within the workshop, three of the sections including 8-Darwin, 9-Mendeleev and 10-Maxwell copes up with their own unique way of programming, coding and making activity using different unknown websites.

During this day, their amazing talent and incredible outputs has been recognized by their proctors and students from University of the Philippines Diliman. 🌻

A massive 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐮𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 to Section Mendeleev on their incredible win 🏆 at the Jazz Chant Contest, with the piece “𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐨𝐝 𝐒𝐚𝐦𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐧” this November 22, 2024.

Their captivating performance, highlighting "𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐏𝐨𝐰𝐞𝐫 𝐨𝐟 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠: 𝐋𝐞𝐚𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐓𝐨𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝𝐬 𝐋𝐢𝐭𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐲" left the audience speechless. What a fantastic way to celebrate English Month! 🎉

Pagsusumikap para sa Pangarap

Ngayong Oktubre 2024, ipinagdiriwang ng Departamento ng Araling Panlipunan ang United Nations Month—kasabay nito ang pagkakaroon ng malawakang kompetisyon na kung tawagin ay "DTI" o "Dress to Impress" Elimination Round na isinagawa makalipas ang isang linggo, Oktubre 16. 2024.

Apat mula sa pangkat Mendeleev ang nakilahok at rumampa kasama ang kanilang kaakibat na galing, talento maging ang taglay sa pag-rampa sa entablado. Pinangunahan ng kanilang baitang ang pag-rampa ng kanilang kalahok na si Glenn Owen R. Del Socorro na rumepresenta sa bansang Japan, Sinundan ito ni Erich Anne L. Dela Cruz, rumepresenta naman sa bansang Tsina, kasunod nito ay si Shaira Faye V. Santos at Shawn Ivan Khalil D. Basa na rumepresenta sa bansang Pilipinas.

Sa kalagitnaan ng kompetisyon, hindi maiiwasang tumili at ipaglaban ang mga kinagisnang kinatawan ng kanilang pangkat. Ang 9 - Mendeleev ay naghanda ng maikling taginting at kanta nang masuportahan ang bawat isa, lalo na sa kanilang mga kinatawan.

Matapos ang naging paligsahan, nakamit ni Shaira Faye V. Santos ang Unang Puwesto, habang ang tatlo pang kalahok ay patuloy na magsusumikap para sa susunod pang kompetisyon nang makamit nila ang kanilang mga pangarap sa pagkapanlo sa iba’t ibang paligsahan. Giit ng apat na lumahok, "Manalo man o matalo, tuloy pa rin ang laban hanggang dulo!"

Kaya naman, ibinabahagi ng pangkat na ito ang pagiging isang bukas na kalahok; Bukas ang puso, isip at diwa sa bawat laban na haharapin. Para sa kanila, isa itong paligsahan na sumubok sa kanilang kakayahan; Ang kakayahan kung paano ipaglaban ang isang bagay na matagal nang hinahangad. At muli nila itong napatunayan sa pamamagitan ng pagtutulungan at pagkakaisa.

Congratulations to the Newly Elected Officers of Grade 9 - (STE) Mendeleev, conducted this October 2024 for the School Year 2024-2025.

With regards to this, They’ll be responsible for their position and ensure that every leadership they deliver will be dedicated to their classmates.

Better late than never!

As Quirino High School celebrates Teachers’ Day this Monday, October 7, 2024, Grade 9 - Mendeleev prepared a simple, yet memorable party alongside their Adviser, Mrs. Jennifer Taguchi!

Mendeleviums conducted a short program involving games and remarks. The program formally started with the Prayer, followed by Mrs. Taguchi's welcome remarks and Games.

It is with great pride and honor that we encore and commemorate the memories they made for almost three years together and another year as Grade 9 Students.

The majority says that the celebration was good and filled with excitement, and may it happen again.
