Please be informed of the cut-off dates for initial submissions for the Ethics Review for February and March 2026 .

𝙆𝙣𝙤𝙬 𝙈𝙤𝙧𝙚 𝘼𝙗𝙤𝙪𝙩 𝙍𝙚𝙫𝙞𝙚𝙬 𝙋𝙧𝙤𝙘𝙚𝙨𝙨
The PCMC IR-EC shall accept the following protocols for review:
1) researches that involve PCMC patients
2) researches conducted by PCMC staff and trainees as principal or as co-investigator
3) researches that are for joint review
4) researches referred by the PNHRS, PCHRD, DOST, PHIC, PHREB, DOH, FDA, SJREB, CHED
5) researches done by non-PCMC staff in a non-PCMC site with a PCMC co-investigator

These applications shall comply with the requirements for a complete protocol package. All protocols shall need technical approval prior to ethical review by the IR-EC. This technical review shall include research protocols of residents and fellows-in-training, PCMC-funded protocols and non-PCMC funded protocols.

Protocols that do not involve human subjects and those that have negligible risks shall be exempted from review (National Ethical Guidelines V2, p38-39).
