In Loving Memory of Queena Lee Chua
April 13, 1966 to November 26, 2025
The School of Science & Engineering (SOSE) community mourns the passing of Queena Lee Chua, a beloved teacher, mentor, and friend. She shared her gifts with steady kindness, sharp insight, and a spirit that lifted everyone around her. Her dedication shaped generations of students, and her warmth created a home for many in our halls.
We honor her life, her work, and the quiet strength she carried into every room. She leaves a legacy that will continue to guide us.
Her wake will be held at the College Chapel, Gonzaga Hall, Ateneo de Manila University, Loyola Heights, Quezon City
December 5 to 8, 2025
10:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
A Mass will be offered every 6:00 p.m. and livestreamed at fb.com/admumath.
We invite all who knew and loved her to join us in remembering a life well-lived and a heart that gave generously.
May she rest in peace.

The Department of Environmental Science, in partnership with the School of Science and Engineering (SOSE) and the Ateneo Research Institute of Science and Engineering- ARISE, with the support of SC Johnson & Son, Inc., invites you to the SC Johnson Environmental Leadership Forum 2025! 🌱
This year’s keynote lecture, to be delivered by Dr. Rene Juna Claveria, will focus on phytoremediation or the use of plants to address environmental pollutants such as heavy metals in contaminated mining sites.
We’ll also be celebrating the work of four student research groups supported by the SC Johnson Environmental Leadership Development Fund.

The ASPC is a 10-day competitive programming training seminar for high school and undergraduate college students.

From Ateneo to the Fast Lane!
Neil Joshua Limbaga (BS Computer Engineering 2023) has taken his engineering expertise from the classrooms of Ateneo to the cutting-edge world of Formula 1. Neil is now pursuing his MS/PhD at King Abdullah University of Science and Technology (KAUST) under the guidance of Professor Khaled Nabil Salama. His research has led him to an extraordinary collaboration with McLaren Racing, through the KAUST-McLaren Partnership, where he applies emerging technologies to address high-performance motorsport challenges. In this collaboration, Neil bridges the gap between academia and industry, bringing innovative insights from his research at KAUST to one of the world’s most competitive environments: Formula 1 Racing.
