[IKA-148 NA ANIBERSARYO NG KAARAWAN NG DATING PANGULONG QUEZON]

Ngayong ika-19 ng Agosto taong 2026 ay buong puso nating ginugunita ang kapanganakan ng "Ama ng Wikang Pambansa" na si dating Pangulong Manuel Luis Quezon. Ang kaniyang walang kapantay na dedikasyon sa pagkakaisa at pagtataguyod ng ating sariling wika ang nagsisilbing lakas at gabay ng ating lahi hanggang sa kontemporaryong panahon.

Bilang pagbibigay-pugay sa kaniyang legasiya, patuloy nating pahalagahan at mahalin ang wikang pambansa. Gamitin natin ito hindi lamang sa pangaraw-araw na komunikasyon, kundi bilang instrumento sa kaunlaran ng ating bayang sinilangan.

ALTERNATIVE WORK ARRANGEMENTS FOR GOVERNMENT OFFICES, ALTERNATIVE LEARNING MODES FOR SCHOOLS ON AUGUST 20

Pursuant to Memorandum Circular No. 131, government offices are directed to implement appropriate alternative work arrangements in the National Capital Region and the following provinces on August 20, 2026:

📍 Benguet
📍 Ilocos Norte
📍 Ilocos Sur
📍 La Union
📍 Pangasinan
📍 Bataan
📍 Bulacan
📍 Nueva Ecija
📍 Pampanga
📍 Tarlac
📍 Zambales
📍 Batangas
📍 Cavite
📍 Laguna
📍 Rizal
📍 Occidental Mindoro

Unless otherwise directed by their respective Local Chief Executives, alternative learning modes for classes and learning continuity measures at all levels in public and private schools shall be implemented in the aforementioned areas.

Agencies involved in the delivery of basic and health services, disaster preparedness and response, and other vital services shall continue their operations and render the necessary services.

Contract of Service (COS) and Job Order (JO) workers placed under alternative work arrangements shall be paid their corresponding wages or salaries, subject to applicable rules and regulations.

The suspension of work or adoption of alternative work arrangements in the private sector shall be left to the discretion of management.

𝗤𝗖 𝗟𝗮𝘂𝗻𝗰𝗵𝗲𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝗳𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗮𝗺

Mayor Joy Belmonte led the launch of the QC Safe Schools Program on August 14 at the QC M.I.C.E. Center, kicking off a whole-of-community framework aimed at ensuring student safety.

The initiative brought together the Local Government, Schools Division Office, QC Police Department, barangay representatives, parents, teachers, students, and Civil Society Organizations (CSOs). Each stakeholder plays a critical role in ensuring the safety of all learners, from policymaking to immediate response and community support.

The established framework includes the IADD Protocol (Identify, Avoid, Deny, Defend), the revitalization of the “B.A.D ’Yan!” campaign, Values Formation modules, and an anonymous QR Code Reporting System for all learners.

Stakeholders at the event also shared their plans to create safer schools for students in Quezon City.

Kim Jillian Teña, Congressional District 4 Representative of the Quezon City Division Federation of Supreme Secondary Learner Government (QCDFSSLG) and SSLG President of Carlos L. Albert High School, also participated in this event.

Fundamentally, the program aims to protect and provide security to every school in Quezon City. Highlighting the motto “Your Voice. Our Action.” and “Magsalita, Makialam, Makiisa,” the initiative emphasizes unity across the community to build a safer environment for everyone.

➤ Kahusayan sa pag-arte, lalim ng emosyon, at malinaw na pagbigkas ng monologo sa wikang Filipino sa loob ng 30 segundo hanggang 1 minuto.

3. Nilalaman at Trivia (Content, Relevance & Research)
= 20%

➤ Kaangkupan ng napiling tauhan sa kultura/kasaysayan ng Pilipinas, kasama ang linaw ng ibinigay na trivia o sangguniang libro.

4. Kalidad ng Video at Presentasyon (Video Quality & Adherence)
= 10%

➤ Kalinawan ng boses at ilaw sa video, malikhaing pag-edit, at pagsunod sa opisyal na haba ng video at file format (Full name_Section_Character Name.Mp4) or pwede ring (Initial, SURNAME_Section Character Name.Mp4).

| Dahil sa inaasahang malakas na pag-uulang aabot sa 50-100mm bukas, inirerekomenda ng Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (QCDRRMC) ang suspensyon ng face-to-face classes sa mga PAMPUBLIKO at PRIBADONG PAARALAN sa Quezon City sa Martes, August 11, 2026 para sa:

• Child Development Centers
• Kindergarten
• Grades 1-12
• Alternative Learning System

Ipatutupad ang Alternative Delivery Modes of Learning (Synchronous / Asynchronous) upang masig**o ang patuloy na pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.

Ang suspensyon ng klase sa HIGHER EDUCATION INSTITUTIONS ay nakabatay sa pasya ng pamunuan ng eskwelahan. Gayunpaman, para sa kaligtasan ng mga g**o at mag-aaral, hinihikayat ang pagsunod sa national o localized suspension.

𝗔𝗧𝗧𝗘𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗡𝗖𝗘: CLAHS SSLG Concludes 5th General Meeting

The Supreme Secondary Learner Government (SSLG) of Carlos L. Albert High School (CLAHS) held their fifth general meeting via Google Meet, introducing themselves to one another and discussing other matters.

Through this, they deliberate on the financial reports, post updates, and discuss the General Plan of Action (GPOA).

This allows the council to fund significant projects for Albertans throughout the 2026–2027 school year.
