In a series of intense moves across the board, where pawns advanced, knights leapt, and kings were constantly under pressure, only a few rose above the rest and secured victory.

CHECKMATE? Not yet. First, let’s take a moment to appreciate the memories we made. 🥳

More than just a chess gathering, this was a day filled with memories, laughter, and genuine connections.

From intense games and friendly competition to fun activities that brought out everyone’s energy and smiles, every moment was worth remembering. We shared meals, celebrated the club’s achievements, and spent quality time together as one family.

What started as a simple gathering around a chessboard became a celebration of friendship, teamwork, and the community we’ve built through our shared love for chess.

On April 17, 2026, the boards were set and the minds were ready at the chess training session at World City Colleges Quezon City. ♟️

The session started with lessons from Coach Alec, setting the tone for the day and sharpening everyone’s thinking. From there, it moved into games, focus, and real-time decisions on the board.

The room slowly came alive as the matches went on—quiet thinking, quick moves, and a few unexpected checkmates along the way. It wasn’t about perfect games, but about learning, improving, and showing up.

Huge thanks to everyone who joined and gave their effort. See you next training! 😊
