BOUND FOR NSPC 2026 IN ORMOC CITY
Balumbato Elementary School's Diversity and Ang Pulso bagged several awards in the recently concluded Regional Schools Press Conference Search for the Best School Paper of the National Capital Region at the University of Perpetual Help System Dalta, Las Pinas, March 10.
Diversity finished 3rd Best School Paper in English, Elementary Level with the following awards:
1st Place, News Section
1st Place, Sports Section
2nd Place, Editorial Section
10th Place, Science and Technology Section
For the second time, Diversity will represent the National Capital Region in the highly anticipated National Schools Press Conference in Ormoc City.
On the other hand, Ang Pulso received the following recognitions:
8th Place - Lay-out and Page Design
9th Place - Editorial Section
Kudos to Sir Marjohn Bandiola, school paper adviser, and Dr. Mylene Castillo, school principal, for her unwavering support.
The school shares this achievement to the editorial staff of both publication, Barangay Balonbato, and BES community.

Women’s Month Kick-Off at BES Sparks Unity and Commitment
The celebration of Women’s Month officially kicked off at Balumbato Elementary School with a lively parade participated in by teachers, staff, and learners, highlighting support for women’s empowerment and gender equality.
As part of the activity, a commitment signature board was set up where participants proudly signed their names to pledge their support in promoting the values and advocacy of Women’s Month.
The event symbolized unity and a shared dedication to recognizing the vital role of women in the community.

Clean and Safe BES
Balumbato Elementary School proudly maintained its 3-star rating during the Wash in Schools (WINS) Validation, highlighting the school’s strong commitment to hygiene and sanitation.
The achievement was made possible through the dedication of WINS coordinators Recelyn Luna and Myhrrafe Alido, who continue to lead efforts in promoting a healthier school environment together with Mrs. Rachael Castro, Ms. Lea H. Mendez, and Dr. Mylene Castillo, School Principal.

Aktibong nakilahok ang mga iskaut ng Balumbato Elementary School sa isinagawang fun run at palaro sa La Mesa EcoPark, Sabado, Pebrero 28.
Bawat taon lumalahok ang BES sa mga aktibidad ng BSP Quezon City Council mahikayat ang mga mag-aaral na sumali sa BSP.

Inklusibong scouting tema ng pagtatalaga
Para mailapit ang scouting sa bawat mag-aaral, itinalaga ang mga bagong batang iskaut ng Boy Scout of the Philippines sa Balumbato Elementary School, Biyernes, February 27.
Pinangunahan ng mga g**ong tapag-ugnay ng BSP na sina Gng. Michelle Arizabal at Jinky Pansacala ang pagtatalaga ng batang iskauts kasama ang punong g**o na si Dr. Mylene Castillo, Errol Eugenio Garcia, Quezon City Council Scout Executive, konseho ng Barangay Balonbato na pinangunahan ni Kagalang-galang Catherine Maglalang at SK Chairman John Riggs Llanto na nagbigay diin na ang scouting ay para sa lahat at sa kahalagahan ng pagiging responsableng scout at mag-aaral sa loob at labas ng paaralan.

Mga Bagong Kasapi ng GSP itinalaga
Matagumpay na naisagawa ng Balumbato Elementary School ang pagtatalaga ng mga bagong kasapi ng Girl Scout of the Philippines, Martes, Pebrero 24.
Naging sentro ng seremonya ang hamon sa mga batang iskauts na maging modelo sa kanilang kapwa mag-aaral.
Pinangunahan ni Gng. Marissa De Guzman, GSP coordinator, at Dr. Mylene Castillo, punongg**o ng BES ang pagtatalaga katuwang sina Gng. Jinky Pansacala, Bb. Lea Mendez, Bb. Jizhelle Perez, Bb. Jessie Guil Palio, Bb. Girlyn Mae Jose, Gng. Princess Thalia Bugho, Gng. Margorie Joy Barquez, at Gng. Camillah Racelis.
Dumalo din sa pagtatalaga ang konseho ng Barangay Balonbato sa pangunguna ni Kgg. Catherine Maglalang at SPTA officers sa pangunguna ni Rechel Bueta.
