Access simulation-based landslide hazard maps available through the COARE Data Catalog, designed to support disaster risk reduction, land-use planning, and infrastructure development.

This dataset provides landslide hazard assessments based on 5-meter IFSAR-derived Digital Terrain Models (DTMs), identifying unstable slopes and potential landslide propagation areas.

Hazard Classification:
🟡 LH = 1: Build only with continuous monitoring
🟠 LH = 2: Build only with slope protection, engineering interventions, and continuous monitoring
🔴 LH = 3: No dwelling zone

🪾Featured Dataset: Drought Situation Map

In line with DOST's efforts to assist concerned agencies (ie. Department of Agriculture) in mitigating the damage or loss caused by drought situations in the country, the Remote Sensing and Data Science (DATOS) team developed a monitoring system that allows assessment and ‘near real-time monitoring’ of the said phenomenon.

Vegetation Health Index (VHI) was employed to determine stress levels in vegetation, enabling end-users to identify areas affected by drought. Using Landsat 8 images, the team created nationwide drought situation maps with 16-day intervals. The Drought Situation Map dataset contains the outputs produced by DATOS team in its drought monitoring efforts. 🔍
