📢 JUST RELEASED: Humanities Diliman Vol. 22 No. 2 (July-December 2025)

We are delighted to announce the release of Humanities Diliman, Vol. 22, No. 2 (July–December 2025). This issue brings together eight insightful articles that explore spirituality, art, literature, history, photography, humor, and political resistance across Philippine and transnational contexts.

Featured in this volume are studies on ecological spirituality in Glenn Bautista’s abstractions (Mark Louie L. Lugue); wartime and postwar art historiography (Gianpaolo L. Arago); photographic spectatorship (Adjani G. Arumpac); critical re-readings of the “events that did not happen” in 1872 (Emmanuel Jayson V. Bolata); Anselm Hollo’s spirituality (Sanad Singha Goswami); graffiti, vandalism, and latrinalia in Philippine literature (Harvey James G. Castillo); humor as resistance in political illustrations from the 2022 Philippine national elections (Paolo Alejandrino, Diana Marie Igual, and Karl Patrick R. Mendoza); and a critical reclamation of the counter-pusong in Dx Machina 4 (John Carlo S. Gloria).
