ArtBridge Philippines is an organization comprised of artists-teachers-parents who believe in the power of the Arts to influence change in the life of an individual, who, in turn can be an instrument of change to society. We believe that everyone has a longing to help those in need. And even those in need have the ability to make a positive impact in their own community – all they need is a jumpstart for them to believe in themselves and reach their full potential. It is our aim to come up with Arts programs that:

1. Empower our participants by providing them concrete opportunities to use their talents and resources in helping those in need.
2. Create opportunities for learning and enhancing of talents for those who do not have access to these kinds of creative activities. By nurturing our participants to be Compassionate Movers, we also help the underprivileged discover that they too can be Compassionate Movers. We seek to reach out to clients, students, and beneficiaries make possible through the following services:

1. Workshops (Theater Workshops, Theater games for corporate team-building activities)
2. Theater productions (Musical and Non-musical)
3. Interactive Storytelling Sessions (for schools, libraries/bookstores, children’s parties)

BENEFICIARY for SCHOOL YEAR 2013-2014: MY FATHER’S HOUSE

My Father's House (MFH) is a child-caring agency in BF Homes, Las Piñas that caters to the needs of orphaned, abandoned, neglected, and surrendered children, ages 4 to 17; providing them with basic needs such as shelter, education, clothing, loving parental care, and spiritual nurturing. Their mission to INSPIRE, EMPOWER, and TRANSFORM these children that they may each discover their purpose, feel loved, and give back that love to positively impact their world. We currently have 14 teenagers from MFH who are undergoing theater workshops under ArtBridge Philippines. Our target is for these students to be able to stage their very own production by March 2014 and proudly market their show to help sustain their organization. Through this, these teenagers will continue to discover their own talents, express themselves, and grow in self-confidence as they realize their own capability to raise funds for themselves.

Always wanted to learn more about acting, singing, and dancing on stage musicals? You can definitely do that under the guidance of theater professionals through our workshop -- and help uplift the lives of orphaned and abandoned teenagers.

By filling these classes up to a maximum of 20 students each, our goal is to support the teens of My Father's House - Manila Philippines -- a home for displaced youth -- to also experience the same kind of musical theater workshop and be part of the culminating show on June 16.

But more than that, it is our hope to continue these workshops for these teens for another year after the show -- to help them grow in their ability to identify and express their emotions, to gain a better sense of self-worth and confidence, and to be able to put up their own show (that reflects their own personal stories) which they can also eventually use market their organization and raise funds for themselves.

With your enrollment of just P6,495, not only will you be continuing to hone your skills in musical theater, but you will also be a blessing to our beneficiaries as you get to meet them (we'll have a joint session to bond together), share in the experience of the culminating show with them, and help us achieve our goals to help them :)

Recital fee is already included.
