As the DOCES Diocese of Cubao Educational System (DOCES) concluded the 14th Mission Formation Summit, Rev. Fr. Raymond Joseph L. Arre presided over the Day 3 Eucharistic Celebration on May 15, 2026, at Obispado de Cubao, together with the DOCES chaplains.

In his homily, Fr. Arre reflected on the summitโ€™s theme, reminding the DOCES Magisters that amid the many crises of our time, educators are called to draw new maps of hope through grounding in reality, building meaningful connections, and embracing their mission in Catholic education.

โ€œAs we close the DMFS, we now move aheadโ€”one small step at a time. We can do it because the Lord is with us as we draw new maps of hope together with our Master Teacher. We listen, we follow, we obey.โ€ - Fr. Arre

Following the Mass, the individuals and committees who helped make the 14th DMFS possible were recognized for their dedication and service, with special acknowledgment given to Dr. Ferdinand G. Garcia, the Chair of the 14th DMFS.

The celebration concluded with the ceremonial turnover of the chairmanship to OLHPS Principal Mrs. Juliet V. Ramiscal who will lead preparations for the next DOCES Mission Formation Summit.

Integrity, one of the core values every educator must embody, was the focus of the afternoon session on Day 2 of the 14th DOCES Mission Formation Summit (DMFS).

DOCES Legal Counsel Atty. Christopher J. Antona led the session titled โ€œTeaching with Integrity: The Teachersโ€™ Ethics, Conduct, and Discipline.โ€ The talk revisited the Code of Ethics for Professional Teachers and highlighted its continuing relevance in the daily lives of educators. Atty. Antona guided DOCES Magisters on handling situations while preserving both personal and institutional integrity. He emphasized that integrity in teaching is reflected in acting ethically, respecting learners, upholding the law, and maintaining professionalism.

The session reaffirmed the commitment of DOCES schools to providing quality Catholic education rooted in integrity, ethics, and professional responsibility.

In his talk, Dr. Fermin emphasized the importance of coaching in schools as a way to help every member of the community reach their full potential. He also shared practical insights on how school leaders can use coaching to support teachersโ€™ growth, which in turn contributes to the development of the entire school community.

"Leaders coach as a core leadership practice. Not as an additional task. Not when there is time. As their primary way of developing people." - Dr. Fermin

Today, May 14, 2026, the second day of the 14th DOCES Mission Formation Summit (DMFS) opened with a Eucharistic Celebration at the Obispado de Cubao, presided over by DOCES Deputy Superintendent Rev. Fr. Gerald M. Moscardon and concelebrated by Rev. Fr. Raymond Joseph L. Arre, DOCES Superintendent, together with the DOCES chaplains: Rev. Fr. Fred Cristian F. Narvasa, Rev. Fr. Frederick Carlo F. Narvasa, Rev. Fr. Victor Angelo S. Parlan, Rev. Fr. Edrylle C. Dayrit, Rev. Fr. Gilbert Fortunato II C. Dumlao, Rev. Fr. Mark Anthony T. Catilogo, and Rev. Fr. Steven C. Zabala, parish priest of the Cubao Cathedral.

In his homily, Fr. Moscardon reflected on the summit theme, โ€œBeyond the Crisis: Turning to the Future, Drawing New Maps of Hope.โ€ As the Church celebrates the feast of St. Matthias the Apostle, he also emphasized the importance of drawing new maps of hope by faithfully following Godโ€™s will, just as St. Matthias did as a devoted follower of Christ.

โ€œAs educators, you must make walking the way, discernment, and prayer part of your lifestyle. Like St. Matthias, remain on course from beginning to end so that you may lead your students toward a map of hope,โ€ Fr. Moski said.

Fr. Moskiโ€™s words and the Eucharistic Celebration set an inspiring and meaningful tone for another day of insightful sessions at the 14th DMFS.
