Based on the current Happiness report, the Philippines is the 53rd happiest country in the world. This is way better than last year where the country was placed 76th in the rankings. The report measures six factors: levels of GDP, life expectancy, generosity, social support, freedom, and corruption. These measurements are general to compare countries.

Now aren't you curious what factors constitutes Filipino Happiness alone? I am currently conducting a study about that and if you answer this survey we might get an idea about Filipino Happiness.

A number of studies already showed the benefits of altruism. This is just one of those studies reporting how it can boost adolescents' life satisfaction. In this article, they presented altruistic games to an experimental group and based on the result that it improved their life satisfaction. Just wondering if we can apply this to our school system and instead of a game, let us create opportunities that would elicit altruistic behaviors.
