Hi future psychologists! 🤍

"If life is to be sustained, hope must remain."

- Erik Erikson, "Insight and Responsibility," 1964

With all the uncertainties, and hurdles we are experiencing in addition to inevitable challenges that we have yet to face, let us all hold on to our faith and a small glimmer of hope that we can conquer everything in our way.

Let us always remember that we have the power to raise our voice to change the world, and despite living in a world where we feel like we have no control over, do not forget to take a deep breath and take one step forward, one at a time. Keep in mind to raise our heads up high, for we have the power to make a stand. Hang in there, future psychometricians! 👥 Your journey has just begun. ✨

Hi future psychologists! 🤍

“Courage starts with showing up and letting ourselves be seen”

- Brené Brown

How are you all, future psychometricians! Don’t forget to be reminded today 👐🏻

As new challenges continue to arise, we may tend to cower away from all the darkness that surrounds us. This is comparable to the concept of "you'll never know unless you try" as there will always be challenges in everything we do.

With that, may we be reminded of our strengths as we choose to be present and stand up for what we believe in. Be mindful as we continue to pave our own paths towards success, let us always remember that showing up is the first step towards that journey. Bear in mind that we are to show up for ourselves before we muster up the same for others. You have every right to be seen. ❤️🌅

Personality is an extremely complex and multifaceted construct, which means that it can be explained in multiple ways from several different perspectives. You may wonder, why do we have so many different theories? Well, alternate theories exist because the very nature of a theory allows the theorist to make speculations from a particular point of view. Yet human personality is so complex that many different perspectives have developed on how to best explain it. These perspectives make different assumptions and focus on different aspects of behavior.

With that, we listed down some of the significant concepts of Theories of Personality that may help you, future Sikilohistas, review and be familiarized with the terms that will be tackled in this course. Feel free to save these images for your reference.✨
