๐ 2nd SSG Leadership Camp 2026
Theme: "ARISE: Becoming the Light in a Darkening World"
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you." โ Isaiah 60:1
Our Lord Saviour Academy proudly participated in the 2nd SSG Leadership Camp 2026, a two-day leadership formation held at Calvin International College, Floridablanca, Pampanga. Centered on the theme "ARISE: Becoming the Light in a Darkening World," the camp brought together young Christian leaders for a meaningful journey of faith, servant leadership, fellowship, and personal growth.
The event gathered 10 participating Christian schools, organized by CEdNet Official in partnership with the Federation of Private Christian Educational Institutions of Tarlac, Inc. (FPCEITI), with the shared mission of raising Christ-centered student leaders who will become instruments of positive change in their schools and communities.

โจ DAY 1 | Identity Before Influence
The first day focused on discovering one's identity in Christ and understanding that leadership begins with a heart willing to serve.
๐ Session 1: "Who Am I? (Identity Before Influence)"
Speaker: Dr. Samuel Sumaoang
"Know who you are before the world tells you who to become."
Delegates were reminded that lasting influence begins with a strong identity rooted in Christ.
๐ฅ Session 2: "Seeing People the Way Jesus Sees Them (Leadership Beyond Positions)"
Speaker: Rev. Luis Miguel Gutierrez
"See people the way Jesus sees them, and leadership becomes an act of love."
Students learned that true leadership is not about titles or authority but about compassion, humility, and serving others as Jesus did.

Each delegation collaborated creatively, strengthening teamwork while expressing their shared vision and identity.
๐ญ School Yell and Talent Showcase
Hosted by Ptra. Abi and Mrs. Marissa Cabillon, participating schools showcased their talents, creativity, and school spirit, celebrating unity through performance.
๐ฅ Bonfire Fellowship
The evening concluded with worship and reflection, reminding every delegate to continue shining as God's light wherever they are called to lead.
โจ DAY 2 | Leading with Courage and Purpose
The second day challenged every student leader to transform their learning into action by serving their schools with courage, generosity, and faith.
๐ Morning Devotion and Team Building Activities
The day began with worship, fellowship, and exciting team-building activities that strengthened trust, unity, and cooperation among the delegates.
๐ซ Session 3: "School Planning: Leading Generosity in Our School"
Speaker: Dr. Samuel Sumaoang
"Great schools are transformed when leaders choose generosity over recognition."
Each school developed meaningful action plans that encourage generosity, service, and positive impact within their communities.
๐ Session 4: "Courage to Stand (Following Jesus When It Is Difficult)"
Speaker: Rev. Elvin Saburin
"True courage is standing for Jesus even when standing alone."
Delegates were encouraged to remain faithful to Christ and boldly stand for biblical values despite challenges and opposition.

The camp concluded with the election and induction of new federation officers, followed by the Closing Program, Awarding Ceremony, and Pictorial Session, celebrating the growth and accomplishments of every participant.

Leadership is not defined by a position but by a life dedicated to serving God and others. Through this camp, our SSLG delegates were equipped to lead with faith, integrity, humility, and courage.
As Isaiah 60:1 declares:
"Arise, shine, for your light has come, and the glory of the Lord rises upon you."
