As per Memorandum Circular No. 134 of Malacanang due to the expected heavy rainfall and for the safety of our learners and staff, all classes today will shift to asynchronous learning.

Teachers will post the assigned activities and instructions through the respective class group chats/Google Classroom. Learners may accomplish the activities at home at their own pace.

Please be informed that the school office will remain open from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM to accommodate parents and learners who may need assistance.

| Alinsunod sa Memorandum Circular No. 134 s. 2026 ng MalacaΓ±ang, suspendido ang face-to-face classes sa LAHAT NG ANTAS ng mga PAMPUBLIKO AT PRIBADONG PAARALAN sa Metro Manila, kabilang ang Quezon City ngayong araw September 4, 2026 (Biyernes).

Dahil ito sa inaasahang patuloy na malalakas na pag-ulan dulot ng Hanging (Southwest Monsoon), gayundin ang hindi magandang kalidad ng hangin sa National Capital Region (NCR) bunsod ng smoke o haze mula sa sunog sa mga kagubatan ng Kalimantan, Indonesia.

Ipatutupad ang Alternative Delivery Modes of Learning (Synchronous / Asynchronous) upang masiguro ang patuloy na pagkatuto ng mga mag-aaral.

Pinapayuhan ang lahat na mag-ingat at manatili sa inyong tahanan kung kinakailangan para sa inyong kaligtasan.

Dear First Milers,

Due to the expected heavy rainfall tomorrow, the Quezon City Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council (QCDRRMC) has announced the suspension of face-to-face classes for both public and private schools.

As much as we would like to continue with the last day of our Summative Tests, we cannot defy the announcement of the LGU. Therefore, the remaining tests will be postponed to Tuesday, September 1, 2026.

Due to the continuous inclement weather conditions, face-to-face classes at FMCS will be suspended tomorrow.

We will shift to asynchronous classes tomorrow, as many of our teachers are experiencing internet connectivity issues due to the bad weather conditions.

Please coordinate with your Homeroom Teachers regarding the activities and tasks to be accomplished tomorrow.

For learners who are already in school for the morning session, classes will continue as scheduled until 12:00 noon.

Due to the continued rainfall caused by the Southwest Monsoon (Habagat), classes at First Mile Christian School (FMCS) are suspended today, August 14, 2026.

ANNOUNCEMENT: AFTERNOON CLASSES SUSPENSION

Due to the expected heavy rainfall this afternoon, the QCDRRMC has recommended the suspension of afternoon classes.

In view of this, all afternoon classes at FMCS will shift to asynchronous learning. Your Homeroom Teachers will coordinate with you regarding the activities and instructions for today.

All high school learners will be dismissed at 12:00 noon. Parents and guardians are advised to make the necessary arrangements for the safe and timely pick-up or travel home of their children before the rain becomes heavier.
