๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ฎโ€”a Kinaray-a word meaning โ€œwiseโ€โ€”shines a light on the lives of artisans, culture bearers, and cultural masters. The series documents their struggles and triumphs as they navigate modern challenges to the preservation of indigenous traditions.

โ€œMost cultural heritage content we find on the internet focuses on artifacts and physical objects,โ€ says ๐— ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ถ๐—ฎ ๐—๐—ผ๐˜ƒ๐—ถ๐˜๐—ฎ ๐—ญ๐—ฎ๐—ฟ๐—ฎ๐˜๐—ฒ, Project Manager of ๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ. โ€œ๐˜”๐˜ข๐˜ข๐˜ณ๐˜ข๐˜ฎ focuses on the people behind these traditions, exploring how they grapple with modern-day issues that either constrain or enable the exercise of their craft.โ€

The soft launch offers cultural stakeholders, members of the press, and the academe an exclusive first look at three pivotal episodes:

โ€ขโ€œ๐—›๐—ฎ๐—ป๐—ฑ๐˜‚๐—บ ๐—ž๐—ผโ€ (๐—”๐—ป๐˜๐—ถ๐—พ๐˜‚๐—ฒ): Explores the ๐˜ณ๐˜ฐ๐˜ฏ๐˜ฅ๐˜ข๐˜ญ๐˜ญ๐˜ข tradition within the public school system and how it thrives through the Department of Educationโ€™s Special Program in the Arts (SPA).

โ€ขโ€œ๐—จ๐˜€๐—ฎ๐—ต๐—ฎ๐˜†โ€ (๐—–๐—ฒ๐—ฏ๐˜‚): Filmed in Lapu-Lapu City, the "Guitar Capital of the Philippines," this episode investigates the vanishing tradition of handcrafted guitar-making and the critical importance of government support in reviving the industry.
