Congratulations to SHSQC Batch 2002 graduate, Maita Ponce, for her successful run portraying one of the lead roles in Arete Ateneo’s rock opera version of Goethe’s Faust, under the direction of Nesito Gomez and featuring compositions by Wolfgang’s Basti Artadi.

According to this article by Fred Hawson, “Ponce was an electrifying stage presence with the s***k, confidence and rock-star attitude required for the deceitful Mephistopheles role.” The show runs until today.

What began in 2020 with SHS High School Batch 1991’s Rosary Crusade, praying daily for one another’s intentions during the pandemic, has blossomed into a lasting tradition of faith and thanksgiving. 🌹

Now, we open this tradition to all SHS sisters from every batch! 💗

*A fund for retired teachers and batchmates who may need medical or hospitalization support in the future
*Financial support for CRIBS Foundation, Bahay Maria Orphanage & Bahay Tuluyan – homes for abandoned and surrendered babies and young girls
