We extend an invitation to young researchers to present their ideas on information and computing solutions through posters and oral presentations. The summit will feature a selection of the best ideas, competing for awards in both the oral and poster presentation categories.

Deadline for Submission of Abstracts:

-For Oral Presentation: March 25, 2024
-For Poster Presentation: March 25, 2024
-Announcement of Accepted Abstracts: April 15, 2024

Research work in the following areas may be submitted:

- Information Systems and Information Technology
- Computer Science and Computer Engineering

Requirements for Screening:

1. A one-page abstract outlining the research or project concept, its relevance, limitations, methodology, and initial results (if applicable), in PDF format.
2. A scanned copy of the researchers’ valid IDs with a picture.
3. An endorsement letter from the head of the researchers’ institution.
4. Note: the principal author of the paper must be a student.

Submission Process:

1. Prepare the following requirements, combined into one PDF file:

-Research Abstract: Maximum 400 words, Arial font size 11, including at least 3 keywords.
-Copy of valid ID of each researcher
-Endorsement from the institution's head

All submissions will be reviewed, and the top 3 entries submitted for oral presentation in each category will be selected to present at the Summit (15 minutes each). Abstracts submitted for oral presentation may also be considered for poster presentation. Selected researchers will be invited to submit their work as full papers for publication in the Y4iT Research Journal.

Requirements for Oral Presentation (if selected):

-Research slides for a 15-minute presentation, in PDF/PPT/KEY format.
-Institutional logo in PNG format with no background.
-Email the above to [email protected] before Monday, April 22, 2024, at 5:00 PM.
-All presenters must register for the Summit.

Requirements for Poster Presentation (if selected):

-A1 size tarpaulin poster (594 x 841 mm or 23.4x33.1 in), portrait orientation, borderless, with eyelets on all four corners.
-Include title, researcher/s' names, research adviser/s' names, institution and logo, and project summary (abstract, results, etc.).
-Set-up at the event venue on the date of the event at 6:00 AM.
-All presenters must register for the Summit.
