𝗟𝗢𝗢𝗞 | 𝗠𝗢𝗖𝗞 𝗜𝗡𝗧𝗘𝗥𝗩𝗜𝗘𝗪: 𝗗𝗔𝗬 𝟮

The second day of the Mock Interview for Senior High School students was held today, September 25, 2026, the interview was held in two sessions, in the morning the Grade 11 students were interviewed in their Life and Career subject, facilitated by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗷𝗼𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘀 𝗕𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗮. The interview was then continued in the afternoon at the SJCS Reading Room and Library catering the Grade 12 students.

The activity aims to prepare students for making informed career choices and equip them with essential skills and confidence for their future employment.

The interviews were conducted and headed by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗷𝗼𝘀, 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩, together with𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗩. 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻, 𝘈𝘤𝘢𝘥𝘦𝘮𝘪𝘤 𝘊𝘰𝘰𝘳𝘥𝘪𝘯𝘢𝘵𝘰𝘳; 𝗠𝘀. 𝗡𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗶𝘁 𝗠. 𝗣𝗮𝘃𝗶𝗮; 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗤. 𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗶𝗿𝗲𝘇; and 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗣𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹.

Through this activity, students were given an opportunity to practice presenting themselves professionally, responding to interview questions, and demonstrating the skills and values they have developed throughout their senior high school journey. May this experience help them face their future careers with confidence, preparedness, and determination.

On September 24, 2026, SJCS successfully kicked off the first day of Mock Interviews for all Senior High School students!

Today, half of Grade 11-Valiant and Grade 11-Obedient completed their sessions in the morning, while the rest took their turn in the afternoon. The interviews were held across designated campus locations, including the library, reading center, and interactive room, with the activity room serving as the official holding area for our student interviewees.

On, September 23, 2026, 𝑗𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑝ℎ𝑖𝑎𝑛𝑠 from Grades 7–12 participated in the 𝗦𝗖𝗛𝗢𝗢𝗟 𝗦𝗔𝗙𝗘𝗧𝗬 𝗢𝗥𝗜𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗔𝗧𝗜𝗢𝗡, facilitated by 𝗣𝗦𝗦𝗴 𝗝𝗼𝗲-𝗿𝗮𝗹𝗽𝗵 𝗗. 𝗥𝗲𝗱 together with 𝗣𝗦𝗦𝗴 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗦 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿𝗲𝘀 from the 𝗔𝗻𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗼𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝟵.

He discusses the importance of being mindful, acting fast, and knowing exactly what to do if a violent emergency ever happens.

During the session, the learners and staff were introduced to the "𝗜.𝗔.𝗗.𝗗" 𝗳𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸, a safety protocol designed to protect everyone inside the school grounds. 𝙄𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙏𝙄𝙁𝙔, 𝘼𝙑𝙊𝙄𝘿, 𝘿𝙀𝙉𝙔, 𝘿𝙀𝙁𝙀𝙉𝘿. This protocol aims to safeguard learners, teachers, non-teaching personnels, and parents/guardians.

On September 23, 2026, the Senior High School students participated in a meaningful 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗺𝗲 𝗪𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 focused on preparing for future job applications and learning how to properly present their credentials.

The workshop was led by 𝗠𝗿. 𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝗙𝗲𝗿𝗺𝗶𝗻 𝗕. 𝗣𝗶𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗹, who discussed proper resume formatting and writing. He provided examples and activities that allowed students to evaluate their own skills and capabilities.

He also compared a resume to packaging, showing how it presents a person's skills, experiences, and qualifications. The discussion emphasized that experience does not only mean employment, as school activities, projects, organizations, and other experiences can also demonstrate valuable skills.

Following Mr. Fermin’s discussion, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗴𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗮 𝗦𝗶𝗮𝘇𝗼𝗻 taught the students about the purpose of job interviews and their different types. She explained how interviews work and helped students understand the importance of proper preparation and presentation during an interview.

Overall, the workshop helped students gain useful knowledge about resumes and job interviews, preparing them for future employment opportunities.

Today, September 23, 2026, the JHS students took part in an insightful and meaningful 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗧𝗮𝗹𝗸 led by 𝗠𝘀. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗼𝗻 𝗕. 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗱𝗲-𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘇𝗮𝗻, 𝗥𝗣𝗠, 𝗖𝗛𝗥𝗔 and our 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩, 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗷𝗼𝘀. This session gave students a valuable opportunity to explore different perspectives on choosing a career and understanding themselves better before making crucial decisions about their future.

A key highlight of the discussion centered on open-mindedness—reminding students of the importance of truly listening when others share their perspectives.

Students were also introduced to fundamental concepts for planning their futures, including:

Today, September 23, 2026, the young 𝑗𝑜𝑠𝑒𝑝ℎ𝑖𝑎𝑛𝑠 from Kindergarten to Grades 1-6 stepped into the world of work as they participated in "𝗗𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗼𝗿 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗸," an activity organized from 𝗠𝘀. 𝗔𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗰𝗮 𝗝𝗼𝗻𝗲𝘀 𝗗𝗲𝗷𝗼𝘀, our 𝘚𝘵𝘶𝘥𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘋𝘦𝘷𝘦𝘭𝘰𝘱𝘮𝘦𝘯𝘵 𝘊𝘰𝘢𝘤𝘩, and emceed by 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗠𝗶𝗮 𝗙𝗹𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂, 𝘎𝘳𝘢𝘥𝘦 4 𝘈𝘥𝘷𝘪𝘴𝘦𝘳. This engaging activity allowed students to explore different professions and imagine the possibilities of their future careers.

From doctors and teachers to pilots, engineers, and beyond, every outfit represented a dream waiting to grow.

A little imagination today can become a big dream tomorrow.

𝗜𝗡 𝗣𝗛𝗢𝗧𝗢𝗦 | 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗮𝘀𝘀

On September 22, 2026, the Senior High School Class Mass (Grade 12) was held at SJCS Chapel, presided over by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗚𝗶𝗹𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗼 𝗙𝗼𝗿𝘁𝘂𝗻𝗮𝘁𝗼 𝗜𝗜 𝗖. 𝗗𝘂𝗺𝗹𝗮𝗼.

The Mass brought together the Grade 12 students in prayer and reflection, reminding everyone of the importance of faith, unity, and family in our journey as children of God.

In his homily, Fr. Gido emphasized the beautiful truth that we are all part of one family—not only as members of our own families, but also as members of God's family. He reminded the students that this is part of the uniqueness of our God: He desires to be close to us and calls us to belong to Him.

Jesus reminds us, “𝙔𝙤𝙪 𝙖𝙧𝙚 𝙢𝙮 𝙛𝙖𝙢𝙞𝙡𝙮.”

Fr. Gido also highlighted the importance of prayer within the family. As he shared, “𝑇ℎ𝑒 𝑓𝑎𝑚𝑖𝑙𝑦 𝑡ℎ𝑎𝑡 𝑝𝑟𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟, 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑦𝑠 𝑡𝑜𝑔𝑒𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑟, 𝑏𝑢𝑡 𝑡ℎ𝑒𝑦 𝑎𝑙𝑠𝑜 𝑠𝑡𝑎𝑦 𝑆𝑇𝑅𝑂𝑁𝐺𝐸𝑅. 𝐻𝐴𝑃𝑃𝐼𝐸𝑅"

The Mass reminds us that we are never alone. We are connected through faith, love, and prayer, and above all, we are part of something greater—God's family.
