Duties and Responsibilities
Conduct archival work by examining all records in the storage area
Scan all existing records in paper form into digital format
Create a database containing all the information in the scanned documents
Ensure that the existing records will be categorized properly after the digitization of records
Perform other tasks assigned by the College Secretary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Prof. Zosimo E. Lee, PhD of the Department of Philosophy. He was 73 years old.

He was the Dean of the College of Social Sciences and Philosophy from 2004 to 2010, serving two (2) consecutive terms. A champion of interdisciplinary research and a proponent of John Rawl’s justice as fairness, he was a steadfast supporter of student-led movements and activities.

His towering physique hides a kind and gentle voice that speaks of the value of balance, reason, and introspection. He strolled through the corridors of Palma Hall with an almost solemn pensiveness that earned him the nickname, “Walking Dean”. He will be dearly missed.

His wake will be held at Room 308, St. Peter Chapels, Quezon Avenue from June 6-8, 2026.

Matagumpay na naisagawa ang ikatlong serye ng KAPP Serye ng Panayam (KSP) para sa taong 2026, noong ika-05 ng Mayo, 3-5 n.h. sa Pilar Herrera Lecture Hall, CSSP. Ang Panayam ay pinangunahan ng Opisina ng Kawaksing Dekano para sa Usaping Pang-Akademiko ng KAPP, katuwang ang Departamento ng Antropolohiya.

Taos pusong pasasalamat at pagbati kay Kat.Prop. Mark Kevin Reginio na nagsilbing Tagapagsalita sa nasabing panayam, na tumalakay sa paksang may pamagat na " 'Outsider in a Deaf World': Researching about and with the Deaf Community”.

Pasasalamat din kay Kat. Prop. Noah Cruz ng Departamento ng Linggwistiks, na nagsilbing Tagapagpadaloy, at kay Bb. Patricia Dagatan na nagsilbing FSL Interpreter sa nasabing Panayam. Pasasalamat din sa suporta ng UP Office of Student Development Service, at sa lahat ng dumalo na aktibong nakibahagi sa nasabing panayam!

Matagumpay na ginanap ang ikalawang serye ng KAPP Serye ng Panayam (KSP) para sa taong 2026, noong ika-29 ng Abril, sa Pilar Herrera Lecture Hall, CSSP. Pinangunahan ito ng Opisina ng Kawaksing Dekano para sa Usaping Pang-Akademiko ng KAPP, katuwang ang Departamento ng Sosyolohiya.

Pasasalamat at Pagbati kay Prop. John Andrew G. Evangelista, Ph.D. na nagsilbing Tagapagsalita sa nasabing panayam, sa kanyang kahanga-hangang pagtalakay ng paksaing may pamagat na "Hallowed be thy Queerness: Bearing witness against religious nationalism.”

Maraming salamat din sa lahat ng dumalo na aktibong nakibahagi sa nasabing panayam!

Ang Opisina ng Kawaksing Dekano Para sa Usaping Pang-Akademiko ng KAPP at sa pakikipagtulungan ng Departamento ng Antropolohiya ay inaanyayahan ang mga g**o at mag-aaral na lumahok sa ikatlong KAPP Serye ng Panayam 2026. Ito ay gaganapin sa ika-05 ng Mayo 2026, Martes, 3:00 ng hapon sa Pilar Herrera Lecture Hall, CSSP.

Tampok na tagapagsalita si Kat.Prop. Mark Kevin Reginio na magbibigay ng lektura na may pamagat na 'Outsider in a Deaf World': Researching about and with the Deaf Community. .
