ATTENTION | To all cadets and cadettes enrolled in NSTP-ROTC 1 A.Y. 2026-2027 of PMI Colleges Quezon City.

The tenth training day is approaching and will be conducted Online and Face to Face. ALL BRAVO SECTION(Port Section) of Bachelor of Science In Marine Transportation and Marine Engineering will conduct FACE TO FACE at Naval Reserve Center National Capital Region(NRCen-NCR), While the ALL ALPHA SECTION(Starboard Section)will conduct ONLINE MEETING.

FOR THE MODE OF TRANSPORTATION:

• Take the LRT-1 southbound and get off at CENTRAL Terminal Station. From there, take a jeepney bound for Intramuros and get off at the Naval Reserve Center. Upon entering, logging in, and surrendering your ID, proceed to the designated area
For PRIVATE VEHICLES:
⁃ Search "Naval Reserve Center - National Capital Region, Intramuros" on any platform of navigation, like Waze or Google Maps, and it will direct you to the venue. Upon entering, logging in, and surrendering your ID, proceed to the designated area

Note:
Attire for 10th Training day will be TYPE C and make sure to eat your meals before attending the training day.

You are not allowed to leave the camp during training, so bring the following:
-Any Valid ID
-BRING WATER
-SNACKS
-WHITE HANDKERCHIEF
-EXTRA CLOTHES
-MINT CANDY

Formation will start at 0700H on Naval Reserve Center - National Capital Region(NRCen-NCR). Arrive early for checking of attendance and formation.

NO ABSENCES.
Attendance will be closely monitored
All Midshipman and Midshipwoman are advised to come aboard at least 1 hour earlier as mustering will start. No latecomers will be tolerated
Please be guided accordingly.

The recruitment for the Midshipman Officer Candidate Course - Alpha is now open!

The 244th Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit provides expanded new opportunities for all First-Year students enrolled in NSTP - ROTC MS1 to participate in the Midshipman Officer Candidate Course (MOCC) - Alpha. The 244TH Naval ROTC Unit Corps of Midshipmen mission is to develop Excellent Leaders, Competent, and Committed Cadet Officers. Cadet Officers who are challenged by their environment's current circumstances retain the highest standard of training, which helps them acquire an urgency to act and perform under pressure in times when leadership is required.

In accordance with this, the 244TH Naval ROTC Unit invites prospective Cadet Officers to join the Midshipman Officer Candidate Course - Alpha in order to gain not just leadership and skills, but also life-time knowledge from the experiences and opportunities obtained from different training and challenges.

9th Training Day | Online Class & Face to Face

The 244th Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps unit conducted its 9th training day on 20 September 2026 at the Naval Reserve Center - National Capital Region (NRCen-NCR).

The training staff and cadet officers of the 244th NROTCU, together with 560 cadets, carried out a dual-mode session divided into Port Side and Starboard Side sections. The Port Side Section attended their Online Class, where HM1 Cherry Ann B Co PN(Res) lectured on personal hygiene, sanitation, basic first aid, and basic life support. Meanwhile, the Starboard Side Section engaged in Face-to-Face training at NRCen-NCR, practicing basic marching, facing movements, proper saluting, intervals, Fall Out, and Dismissal.

The 244th NROTCU commends HM1 Cherry Ann B Co PN(Res) for her exceptional performance in teaching Military Science 1. Her invaluable instruction helped broaden the cadets' skills and knowledge in field health, basic first aid, and basic life support.

The Corps of Midshipmen of the 244th Naval Reserve Officer Training Corps Unit, PMI Colleges, conducted a vigil at the resting place of Admiral Tomas Cloma—founder of PMI Colleges—alongside his beloved wife, Doña Victoria Luz Galvez Cloma, on September 18th. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who came to pay their respects at the grave of Admiral Tomas Cloma and Doña Victoria Luz Galvez Cloma.

In honored celebration of the 78th founding anniversary of PMI Colleges Inc., we reflect on decades of educational excellence, leadership, and service to nation-building. To pay homage to this tradition of discipline, the Corps of Midshipmen proudly convened to execute a solemn Wreath Laying Ceremony at the Quezon City campus.

Established on September 18, 1948, by Tomas Cloma Sr.—discoverer of the Kalayaan Group of Islands—PMI Colleges stands as the Philippines' first private maritime institution, dedicated to molding future maritime leaders and defenders of the seas.

The Philippine Maritime Institute was founded on September 18, 1948 by Atty. Tomas Cloma, also Admiral and his father Tomas Cloma Sr., discoverer of the Kalayaan Group of Islands. It was the first private maritime school in the Philippines.
