CALLING RESEARCHERS AND LABORATORY PROFESSIONALS IN EASTERN VISAYAS (REGION VIII)!

Mark your calendars! The LAMP Training Workshop: Advancing Field-Deployable Diagnostics Through Loop-Mediated Isothermal Amplification Training will be held on October 29, 2026, at the Department of Biotechnology, Visayas State University, Baybay City, Leyte.

This hands-on training will cover:
• Principles and applications of LAMP
• Guided LAMP primer design
• Hands-on LAMP assay setup and amplification
• Agarose gel electrophoresis and result interpretation
• Assay optimization and troubleshooting
• Application of LAMP to your own research targets

Who can participate?
Researchers, faculty members, graduate students, research associates, and laboratory personnel from Region 8 with basic molecular biology and laboratory experience

Participation is FREE! Training materials, reagents, and meals will be provided.

Limited slots available. Participants will be screened based on their laboratory experience, research relevance, and readiness for hands-on training.
