🏆 ILC Diliman receives the QAHusayan Fair Award!

On September 11, 2026, at the Bulwagang Tandang Sora, the UP Diliman Quality Assurance Office recognized the Interactive Learning Center Diliman (ILCD) for its significant role in promoting and advancing Quality Assurance (QA) activities in the University.

We are truly grateful to the QA Office for this recognition. This award inspires us to continue working together toward meaningful initiatives and quality outputs that contribute to the University’s commitment to excellence.

Across ASEAN, universities are responding to the growing use of GenAI at different levels, from strengthening institutional policies to exploring AI-enabled teaching and learning and developing the capacity of faculty members. As GenAI adoption expands, there is a growing need to move beyond technical knowledge and towards responsible, ethical, and human-centred integration.

▪ The 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 (𝐄𝐝𝐔𝐇𝐊) will explore GenAI-responsive teaching competencies through its Competency Framework for University Teachers;
▪ The 𝐀𝐒𝐄𝐀𝐍 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 - 𝐃𝐢𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐬𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐓𝐡𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐍𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 (𝐀𝐔𝐍 𝐃𝐱) will broaden the lens to responsible AI governance through its AI Governance & Ethics Framework for Higher Education Institutions and;
▪ The 𝐄𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐔𝐧𝐢𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐨𝐟 𝐇𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐨𝐧𝐠 (𝐄𝐝𝐔𝐇𝐊) will bring these perspectives into practice through a case study on AI-enabled personalised learning.

Following Memorandum Circular No. 125 issued by the Office of the President and posted on the official page Presidential Communications Office, the UP Diliman (UPD) Office of the Chancellor announced that classes and government work (except for essential offices) in UPD is suspended today, 13 August 2026.

- Must be enrolled in at least 12 units during the semester of appointment.
- Must not have any pending disciplinary cases in the University.
- Responsible and must be aware of time management.

New platform, new features, and another productive learning session! 💻✨

The UVLe ’26 Caravan stopped at the National Institute of Molecular Biology and Biotechnology UP Diliman on August 5, 2026, where faculty members and lecturers learned how to transition to the updated platform and navigate UVLe ’26 as new users.

🚐 The UVLe ’26 Caravan made its way to the UP Institute of Civil Engineering !

On August 5, 2026, ILC Diliman met with the unit’s faculty members and lecturers for a three-hour learning session on transitioning to UVLe ’26 and getting started with its essential features.

Thank you, ICE, for warmly welcoming our trainers and training assistants and actively participating in our training session!
