TES is a grant-in-aid program that supports the full or partial cost of tertiary education of priority students in SUCs, CHED recognized LUCs and private higher education institutions (HEIs)

BENEFITS OF TES:

CATEGORY 1: ₱ 10,000.00 per semester or ₱ 20,000.00 per academic year

CATEGORY 2: ₱ 5,000.00 per semester or ₱ 10,000.00 per academic year

Additional Benefits:
TES-3A: (Person with Disability) - ₱ 10,000.00 per academic year
TES-3B: (Board/Licensure Exam Takers) - ₱ 8,000.00 (One-TIme Reimbursement)

Please be informed that this application form is exclusively for students of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines–NCR Campuses (PUP Main, PUP Open University, PUP Quezon City, PUP Parañaque, PUP Taguig, and PUP San Juan).

Students from other PUP campuses outside Metro Manila should apply through their respective branch/campus scholarship coordinator/s.

QUALIFICATIONS:

☑️Filipino Citizen
☑️Meets the admission and retention policies of the SUC/LUC
☑️No previous undergraduate degree
☑️Not overstaying in the program (ex. 4 or 5 years + 1-year grace period)
☑️Applicants must be enrolled at any PUP NCR Campus (PUP Main, PUP Parañaque, PUP Quezon City, PUP San Juan, or PUP Taguig) for the 1st Semester, AY2026-2027. Students who have not yet enrolled due to the enrollment schedule may still apply, as this is an online application and proof of enrollment is not yet required.
☑️Must be enrolled in CHED-recognized programs (❌Diploma programs are not included; Open University programs are eligible to apply).
☑️NOT a recipient of CHED Scholarship Programs (CSPs), Tulong Dunong Program (TDP), SMART Program, DOST Scholarship, any other national government funded STUFAPs, except those recipients of any one-time grant or subsidy such as but not limited to DSWD’s Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situation (AICS) program etc.
☑️No existing scholarship or financial assistance assisted by OSFA such as private grants.

PRIORITIZATION FOR NEW TES SLOTS:

CATEGORY 1: All enrolled students in SUCs, LUCs, and PHEIs, including Private HEIs in cities or municipalities with no SUCs or LUCs (PNSLs), who are part of households included in the most updated Listahanan. In case of discontinuance of Listahanan as certified by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD), the Pantawid Pamilyang Pilipino Program (4Ps) list, certified and provided by the DSWD, including dependents of solo parents, those who are part of Indigenous Peoples communities, and persons with disabilities, shall be applied in this prioritization, ranked according to household per capita income as determined by the DSWD; and;

CATEGORY 2: All other enrolled students in SUCs, LUCs, and PHEIs, including PNSLs, who are children or dependents of solo parents (in active status) and those who are part of the Indigenous Cultural Communities or Indigenous Peoples (ICCs/IPs), ranked according to household per capita income to be determined by the concerned agencies.

All applications will be uploaded to the CHED Portal. After the application period, the UniFAST Secretariat will conduct eligibility cross-matching and check for duplicate applications nationwide, as well as duplicate records within the TES database. UniFAST will evaluate and prioritize student-applicants based on the TES prioritization criteria.

Stipend-P35,000.00 per year

Qualifications:
1. Incoming 2nd-year, 3rd-year, and 4th-year students for Academic Year 2026-2027.
2. Must maintain a General Weighted Average (GWA) of 2.00.
3. Must not have a grade lower than 2.25 in any major subject and not lower than 2.5 in any minor subject.
4. Must carry the regular load prescribed in the curriculum.
5. Must not have a failing grade (5.0), INC, dropped, or withdrawn final grade.
6. Must belong to a family whose joint family income is not higher than Four Hundred Thousand Pesos (P 400,000.00) per annum.
7. Must not be a working student.
8. Must not be a shiftee, irregular student, or have filed a leave of absence.
9. Must be of good moral character.
10. Must not be a recipient of any other scholarship.
11. The scholar is willing to sign an agreement to participate in any NITORI Philippines events as well as events in the College of Arts and Letters.

✏️You may claim your check at CHED NCR Office, located at Quezon City University Compound, Philippine Metal Casting Assoc. Inc. Building, 673 Quirino Highway, San Bartolome, Novaliches, Quezon City, Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM only. Closed on weekends (Saturday and Sunday)

✏️Please bring the following documents when claiming your check:

📌Two valid IDs (original and photocopy) with three (3) specimen signatures below the photocopy of your ID. (Preferably, School ID, and PhilHealth ID)

If you wish for an authorized representative (immediate family only) to claim your check, the representative must bring and present the following documents to the cashier unit:
