The Philippine Children Research Network (PCRN) warmly invites its members to the rescheduled PCRN Scientific Lecture and General Membership Meeting, happening on 15 August 2026 (Saturday), from 8:00 AM to 12:00 NN.

With the theme โ€œBuilding a Community and Culture of Research on Children with Children,โ€ the event will bring together members of the network and key partners to reflect on PCRNโ€™s journey, hear from distinguished speakers, and strengthen our shared commitment to advancing child-focused research, collaboration, and meaningful child participation.

โ€œkas[AI]sayan: Pananaliksik at Pagtuturo ng Kasaysayan sa Panahon ng AIโ€

Inaanyayahan ng Philippine Historical Association (PHA) ang lahat na lumahok sa PHA Annual Conference 2026 na may temang โ€œkas[AI]sayan: Pananaliksik at Pagtuturo ng Kasaysayan sa Panahon ng AI.โ€

Nagdudulot ng malawakang pagbabago sa paraan ng pangangalap, pagsusuri, pag-uugnay, paglikha, at pagpapalaganap ng kaalaman at karunungan sa ibaโ€™t ibang disiplina ang pag-usbong at pag-unlad ng artificial intelligence (AI). Sa larangan ng Kasaysayan, nagsisimula nang baguhin ng mga teknolohiyang AI ang kaparaanan ng pananaliksik, pagtuturo sa silid-aralan, at pakikipag-ugnayan ng publiko hinggil sa nakaraan. Mula sa awtomatisadong transkripsyon at salin ng mga dokumentong historikal hanggang sa paggamit ng AI sa pagsusulat, pagtuturo, at pagkatuto, nahaharap ngayon ang mga historyador at g**o ng Kasaysayan, hindi lamang sa mga bagong oportunidad, kundi pati na sa mga bagong hamong etikal, legal, at sosyal.

Nilalayon ng kumperensiyang ito na magsilbing plataporma para sa mga talastasan ukol sa nagbabagong ugnayan ng pananaliksik at pagtuturo ng Kasaysayan at AI sa kontemporanyong panahon. Kinikilala nito na bagamaโ€™t nakatutulong ang AI sa pagpapalawak ng akses sa mga batis historikal, pagpapabilis ng pagsusuri sa mga datos historikal, pagpapayaman ng paraan ng pagtuturo at pagkatuto ng Kasaysayan, at pagpapahusay ng pagpapalaganap ng kaalaman at karunungang historikal, nagdudulot din ito ng mahahalagang usapin hinggil sa pagtatakda ng kapaniwalaan at katotohanang pangkasaysayan, pagtitiyak sa pagkamay-akda sa mga sulating pangkasaysayan, pagtataguyod ng akademikong integridad, paglilinang ng kritikal na pag-iisip, at pagpapanatili ng makataong pananaw sa pagpapakahulugang pangkasaysayan.

Inaanyayahan ang mga historyador, akademiko, iskolar, g**o, mag-aaral, arkibista, aktibista, digital na praktisyoner, manggagawang kultural, at iba pang interesado na magsumite ng abstrak ng kanilang pag-aaral hinggil sa ugnayan ng AI at gawaing historikal. Kung matanggap, dapat isumite ang buong papel bago ang kumperensiya. Naaayon, ngunit hindi limitado, ang mga panukalang papel at panel sa mga sumusunod na sabtema:

โ€ข Arkibong Digital at Kasaysayan
โ€ข AI, Etika, at Kasaysayan
โ€ข AI sa Kurikulum, Pagtuturo, at Pagkatuto sa Kasaysayan
โ€ข AI at Kasaysayang Pangmadla

2๏ธโƒฃEnduring Challenges, which examine the structural, historical, and environmental conditions that sustain poverty; and
3๏ธโƒฃEmerging Pathways, which explore institutional, social, and policy responses to poverty and development.

We also welcome submissions of other research papers and proposals that align with the main conference theme.
