At IFFAsia, we believe that true leadership begins when we shift our mindsets, bridge our differences, and learn to lead ourselves first. For Ikha, our Batch 17 participant, the ๐๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ ๐„๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง๐ข๐ง๐  module was a major turning point.

Hailing from East Timor, Ikha shares how interactive tasks and group challenges pushed her to grow. She discovered the power of teamwork by cooperating with diverse personalities, and learned to think critically under pressureโ€”moving away from impulsive reactions to make wiser choices. By embracing self-discipline and time management alongside her brothers and sisters from Laos, Malaysia, South Korea, and Myanmar, Ikha has learned to focus on what truly matters. Today, she continues her formation journey with a servant's heart, willing to collaborate with a calm and responsible spirit.

Today, we celebrate the mystery of the Holy Trinityโ€”Father, Son, and Holy Spiritโ€”a perfect communion of love that invites us into a deeper relationship with God and with one another.

As we reflect on this Gospel, let us ask ourselves:
๐Ÿ”น How have I experienced God's unconditional love in my life?
๐Ÿ”น In what ways can I share God's mercy and compassion with others?
๐Ÿ”น How can I help build unity, understanding, and love in my family, community, and ministry?

The Feast Exposure

Beyond the classroom and the formation compound, mission is a celebration of life. Our Batch 17 participants recently stepped into the vibrant, soul-stirring world of The Feast for a unique social exposure, experiencing the profound power of Praise and Worship.

For our participants from Laos, Timor-Leste, Malaysia, South Korea, and Myanmar, this wasnโ€™t just an eventโ€”it was a deep encounter with a living faith. They witnessed firsthand how music and prayer can bridge cultures and heal weary spirits, creating a space where every person is truly welcome. Seeing thousands united in a single song of hope reminded our young leaders that while their home countries face different joys and trials, they are all part of one heart, beating for a shared purpose in Asia.

It was a beautiful lesson in the ""Spirituality of Joy""โ€”proving that when we lift our voices together, we find the strength to transform our communities from the inside out.

At IFFAsia, formation goes beyond the classroom. In our daily Gardening Time, Batch 17 steps away from their books and into the soil to experience our holistic program firsthand.

Whether from Laos, Timor-Leste, Malaysia, South Korea, or Myanmar, our participants learn that mission is inseparable from caring for "Our Common Home." This hands-on harmonyโ€”combining intellectual study with the Laudato Siโ€™ spiritโ€”nurtures integral leaders. By tending the earth together, they cultivate the patience and stewardship needed to serve both the poor and the planet with one heart.

At IFFAsia, we believe that true confidence begins when we stop looking at others and start looking within. For Pheava, our Batch 17 participants, the ๐’๐ž๐ฅ๐Ÿ-๐ƒ๐ข๐ฌ๐œ๐จ๐ฏ๐ž๐ซ๐ฒ ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐Ÿ๐Ÿ๐ข๐ซ๐ฆ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐Œ๐ฒ ๐”๐ง๐ข๐ช๐ฎ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ฌ๐ฌ module was a turning point.

Hailing from Laos, Pheava shares how she has found the courage to be vulnerableโ€”asking questions when she doesnโ€™t understand and sharing his thoughts without fear. By embracing her unique identity alongside her brothers and sisters from Timor-Leste, Malaysia, South Korea, and Myanmar, Pheava has let go of the weight of comparison. Today, she walks a more independent and relaxed path, making decisions with a calm heart and a satisfying sense of purpose.
