approved by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) in October 15, 1987 has been operating as a private non-stock non-profit institution that teaches young hearing impaired children how to communicate through Oralism for the past 23 years. DECS-NCR gave permits to operate Preschool, Elementary and High School levels. Through the oral school, the foundation aims to give a continuing oral servi

ce to the country’s hearing impaired children so that they can grow-up like normal-hearing children. Starting as a single room therapy center founded by a licensed speech therapist, Mrs. Leticia Nietes Buhay, the center grew to include several grade school and high school levels. The school is a tuition-based institution offering partial and full scholarships to indigent pupils and those who come from middle to low-income families. These scholarships come from generous donors and sponsors tapped by the school’s executive director. Although raising funds is a challenge due to high operating and maintenance cost, the school has remained in operation since right-sizing in 2005.

We officially open on Monday under the hybrid/hyflex learning model. Our onsite begins on August 8, 2025.

We are still accepting students until August 16, 2025 and may also offer partial scholarships to deserving applicants.

Applicants will need to submit a letter of appeal for educational aid explaining why they need assistance and a letter of intent to enroll.

The letter will be endorsed and reviewed by some members of the board of trustees.

Applicants may send this via email to [email protected] with the heading MLBMFI LETTER OF APPEAL FOR EDUCATIONAL AID.
