From the UDRIVE Group, we proudly celebrate and stand in support of Poy De Lara : Coach and Consultant, JB Ramos, Theresa Shea and all those who are part of this powerful gathering.

Hosted by ALERT – Awareness Based, Life-Saving, Empowerment, Resilience Training International, this gathering brings together Filipino professionals across psychotherapy, healthcare, somatic practice, coaching, martial arts, and ancestral healing.

More than an event, SINAG is a movementβ€”a space for caregivers, healers, and leaders to reconnect with their practice, reclaim their roots, and rise together in shared responsibility for community care.

We at UDRIVE are deeply proud of this sacred work, holding space, contributing their wisdom, and embodying what it means to lead with both strength and compassion.

Padayon. We rise together. πŸ”₯

On behalf of ALERT Program International and the organizers of SINAG - Rise & Reclaim , we extend our heartfelt gratitude to Dr. Eileen de Villa for joining us and sharing in this meaningful gathering.

Dr. de Villa is a Canadian public health physician who served as Toronto’s Medical Officer of Health from 2017 to 2024, and is widely respected for her longstanding commitment to advancing community health.

Her presence held special meaning, as her late father was one of the founders of the Filipino Centre Toronto β€”the very space where SINAG took place. This connection brought a deep sense of grounding and continuity to the gathering.

We are sincerely grateful for her time, presence, and support.

This Easter, we honor not just resurrection... but restoration.

For many of us, the idea of β€œnew life” can feel distant, especially when we are carrying unseen burdens, silent grief, or stories that are still healing.

At UDRiVE Group, we hold space for this truth:
Resurrection is not always loud.
Sometimes, it is quiet.
Sometimes, it looks like getting out of bed.
Sometimes, it is choosing to stay.
Sometimes, it is learning to feel again - safely, gently, and in your own time.

Easter reminds us that even after the darkest moments, life can return... not rushed, not forced, but nurtured.

So today, we invite you:
To honor where you are in your journey.
To release the pressure to β€œbe okay” right away.
To trust that healing, like resurrection, unfolds in its own time.

You are allowed to rise slowly.
You are allowed to heal gently.
You are allowed to begin again..... again and again.

From our UDRiVe family to yours, may this season bring you hope that feels safe, and renewal that feels real. 🌼

This Good Friday, UDRiVe Group holds space - not just for reflection, but for the quiet truths we carry within.

For many, this day speaks of sacrifice. But through a trauma-informed lens, we also honor the reality that suffering is not something to glorify - it is something to be witnessed, held with compassion, and met with care.

Today reminds us that pain, betrayal, abandonment, and grief are real human experiences. And just like the story we remember today, no one is meant to carry that weight alone.

As a community, may we choose to:
β€’ create spaces where people feel safe, seen, and heard
β€’ respond with empathy instead of judgment
β€’ recognize that behind every behavior is a story, and behind every story is a need

Healing begins where there is understanding. Restoration begins where there is connection.

This Good Friday, may we be gentle... with others, and with ourselves. 🀍

As we cap off Women’s Month, we honor this truth - strength does not mean endless giving, and rest is not something we have to earn.

To the women who are tired... you are seen, you are valid, and you are not alone.

In UDRiVe Group, we continue to hold space where choosing yourself is respected, not questioned.

This may be the end of Women’s Month, but it is not the end of rewriting our stories... stories of boundaries, healing, and self-respect.

Featuring Pres Arra, President and CEO, sharing UDRiVe Group's message for every woman who continues to show up, even when it’s hard.

Onwards and upwards, UDRiVe Group πŸ’œ

Happy Birthday, Poy De Lara! πŸŽ‰

Today, we celebrate more than just another year, we celebrate a life that carries depth, purpose, and quiet strength. You have this rare ability to lead not just with skill, but with understanding.. with a heart that sees beyond behavior and into the stories people carry.

In a world that often rushes to judge, you choose to pause, to listen, and to respond with compassion. That trauma-informed way of showing up - grounded, patient, and deeply human - creates spaces where people feel safe, seen, and valued. And that kind of presence changes lives more than words can ever measure.

Your role in the UDRiVe Group is not just important, it is foundational. You bring stability, direction, and heart into the team. You remind everyone, through both action and example, that people matter, stories matter, and how we show up for each other matters.

May this new year of your life be filled with the same care and strength you so freely give to others. May you be poured into, supported, and uplifted in ways that mirror the impact you have on so many.

You are a blessing, a steady force, and a person whose influence runs deeper than you may ever fully see.

Here’s to more purpose, more growth, and more meaningful impact in the lives you touch.

Not every strong statement is strength.
Sometimes it’s pain speaking with certainty.

In this video, Coach Poy de Lara explains why language matters β€” especially when it comes to faith, dignity, and people who are already carrying invisible wounds.

A trauma-informed perspective doesn’t remove belief.
It changes how we express it so we don’t unintentionally harm while trying to guide.

Because healing never begins with humiliation.

Watch the full video and join the conversation respectfully.
You may not agree β€” but you might understand someone better.

If you love God
and one day your child tells you
they feel different…

That moment will test your heart.

Not because they are broken.
But because you may feel afraid.

Afraid of what people will say.
Afraid of what it means.
Afraid of what you were taught.

But pause here.

Before opinions.
Before theology debates.
Before correction.

There is a child in front of you
being vulnerable.

That moment is sacred.

If they are met with rejection,
their nervous system learns
that love can disappear.

If they are met with safety,
their body learns
that home is still home.

You don’t have to understand everything overnight.
You don’t have to solve doctrine in one conversation.

But you can decide this:

β€œI will not let my child experience God
as fear through me.”

Faith is not proven by control.
It is revealed through love.

Your child is not something to fix.

They are someone entrusted to you.

And love,
steady, patient, protective love -
is where we begin.

Children experience trauma and adverse childhood experiences in many waysβ€”
and sometimes, it happens inside the very places meant to protect them.

Not out of cruelty.
But out of unhealed pain, quietly passed down.

Here is the power we hold as adults:
we can help change a child’s story.

We can become the safe connection
that interrupts the cycle.

Through emotional safety.
Through staying when things are hard, instead of turning away.
Through belonging, friendship, and trusted adults who show up.
Through school spaces where children are seen, valued, and included.

We may not have caused the hurt on purposeβ€”
but we can choose to become the healing, on purpose.
