📸 KNOW A VETERAN PHOTOJOURNALIST?

Know a veteran photographer or photojournalist? TAG, SHARE, ❤️ HEART, or 👍 LIKE this poster and help us reach them!

A simple tag or share may seem small to us, but it can mean so much to those who captured and documented the stories of our time before us.

Let’s honor those who captured history before us. 📷

Happy World Photography Day!

ROPA x REFOCUS — A Photojournalist’s Journey Beyond the Lens

What happens when a photojournalist’s story goes beyond the photograph?

First meeting pa lang, pero puno na ng ideas, perspectives, at creative possibilities mula sa mga taong may malalim na experience sa filmmaking, directing, acting, at storytelling.

From photography to film. From images to stories. From the lens to life.

One life. One journey. One story.

This is just the beginning.

And the story begins.

For years, we’ve created spaces for photojournalists to share, learn, and inspire.

This time, we turn the lens inward.

From an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) journey to photojournalism, teaching, and advocacy, this is the story behind the person who built ROPAPICS Photography School and ROPA x.

Not a story of having all the answers—
but a story of struggle, second chances, purpose, and the love for photojournalism.

ROPA x REFOCUS
A Photojournalist Journey Beyond the Lens

Based on a True Story of Robert Oswald P. Alfiler (ROPA)
Directed by Anthony Sigua

🎬 Documentary Series / Short Film — Coming Soon

If you’ve ever held a camera, chased a story, or dreamed of making a difference through photography—this story is for you.

May this journey inspire those who are starting, those who continue, and the next generation who will carry the camera forward.

If you believe every photographer has a story beyond the photograph, ❤️ this post and share it with someone who should see it.

In God’s will. 📷🙏
