The Christmas spirit is already in the air, SPCnians!

Aspiring chorale ensembles are invited to join and compete in this year's PASKUHANG SPCC Chorale Competition 2022 on December 13, Friday, to be held on the SPCC Grounds.

The group's representative may approach Sir Clay Dela Cruz of the SHS Department for submission of entry.

MECHANICS
The chorale competition is open to all students in Systems Plus Computer College - Quezon City.
The participating chorale ensemble must have a minimum of 10 and a maximum of 20 members.
Two (2) songs will be performed in the competition. The first one is the given contest piece, and the second song is the group's selected piece. The selected piece must be submitted one (1) week before the competition.
One (1) chorale ensemble will only be distinctly recognized and will be awarded a cash prize.

CRITERIA
40% DELIVERY (Quality of voice, fluency, pronunciation, blending, and harmony)
30% INTERPRETATION (the manner in which the piece and internalized and presented)
20% STAGE PRESENCE (stage poise, eye contact, and audience impact)
10% COSTUME, SOUND EFFECTS, & PROPS (attire relevant to the concept, sound production)

The validation period for the Continuing Tertiary Education Subsidy grantees is until Wednesday, October 26, 2022. Likewise, validation for Tulong Dunong Program grantees is until Monday, October 31, 2022. To all TES and TDP grantees, coordinate with your UniFAST focal persons to ensure your correct validation status for the first semester of Academic Year 2022-2023.

Let us all hope and pray that Congress approves additional funding to accommodate New TES grantees in the next academic year.
