Here’s the first peek into our Women In Engineering series, where we hear from stories of women in STEM! Here’s what Pauline Dizon, UP WiE’s first president, has to say:

“I am currently optimizing marketing campaigns and processes for Globe myBusiness customers. This means that I constantly look for ways on how to improve our current programs, and provide recommendations on how to fine-tune them. The learnings I took from my classes as an IE undergrad have helped me tremendously in my work, particularly with regards to process improvement. I am also empowered because I am mentored and led by amazing women in my team. I believe that it is important to have women as key figures in big tech organizations like Globe, because they debunk the stereotype that women are incapable of holding positions of power in analytically difficult fields and industries. Women in power are proof that the tech field is ready for the taking for strong young girls reaching for their dreams.”
