𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀: 𝗦𝗲𝘁𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲
As we gear up for the upcoming school year, our faculty and staff recently spent time "filling their own cups" by completing a series of intensive In-Service Trainings (INSET) designed to sharpen our skills, nurture our spirits, and embrace the future of education.
Our professional development journey was marked by three transformative sessions:
• 𝗪𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗮𝘀 𝗣𝗶𝗹𝗹𝗮𝗿𝘀 𝗼𝗳 𝗘𝘅𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲: We were honored to have our own alumna, 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗟𝗶𝘇𝗯𝗲𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗮𝗽-𝗗𝘆, and her husband share profound insights on maintaining holistic wellness as the foundation of great teaching.
• 𝗠𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗜𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗹𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗿𝗼𝗼𝗺: We had the privilege of learning from 𝗗𝗿𝗮. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗚𝗮𝘄 𝗦𝗼, who reminded us that integrity is the heartbeat of our profession and the most powerful lesson we can model for our students.
• 𝗔𝗜 𝗶𝗻 𝗘𝗱𝘂𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻: We welcomed back 𝗠𝗿. 𝗥𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹 𝗟. 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮 and his wife, 𝗠𝗿𝘀. 𝗖𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗻𝗮 to navigate the complexities of AI policies, equipping us to leverage technology for more effective and efficient teaching and learning.
These sessions are just the beginning. We are committed to continuous professional development to ensure our teachers are equipped to provide the best possible learning experience for our students.
Here’s to a school year grounded in wellness, integrity, and innovation!
