The Midyear Application Form is now closed.

Please bring a hard copy of the following requirements to KDCC on May 4, 2026 (8:00 AM-5:00 PM) :
1. Completed Application Form (Online Google Application Form)
2. Two (2) Recent 1x1 Photo of the Child

Place all requirements in a long brown envelope. Write your child's name on the upper left corner (Last Name, First Name, M.I.) and MIDYEAR 2026 under the child's name.

KDCC will not accept incomplete requirements or online submissions.

Kalinga Day Care Center (KDCC) accepts children 2.0 to 4.11 years old (by August 1, 2026) for the Midyear Program that will take place from June 15-July 10, 2026. This program features play and literature-based activities to improve older children's early reading and writing readiness and younger children's creativity and social skills.

[TAKBULILIT 2026]

In celebration with the UP Center for Women's and Gender Studies women's month festivities, the Kalinga Daycare Center and UPCWGS partnered up with the U.P. Track and Field Team for an event entitled TAKBULILIT: A Track and Field Sports Clinic for the children of KDCC last March 16, 2026, Monday at the U.P. Track Oval. The children of KDCC were taught the fundamental skills of the Track and Field sport while highlighting women’s participation in sports, mostly featuring members of the U.P. Women’s Track and Field Team.

We would like to thank the UP Track and Field Team for joining us and helping us make this event a success! 🏃‍♀️💜

The UP Center for Women’s and Gender Studies (UPCWGS) has prepared a diverse lineup of activities this March 2026, including health services, community bazaars, workshops, lectures, and creative discussions that highlight women’s voices and promote empowerment.

These activities are open to various sectors of the community, including students, women of different age groups, children, and the general public. Whether you want to learn more about women’s health, explore feminist art and photography, support women-led initiatives, or simply engage in meaningful conversations, there is something for everyone.

We warmly encourage members of the UP community and the public to take part in these events and celebrate Women’s Month through participation, dialogue, and collective action. Together, let us continue creating spaces where women are supported, heard, and empowered.

Year 2025-2026
The Kalinga Day Care Center (KDCC) accepts applications for children aged 2.0 to 4.11 years old (as of August 2025). To learn more about the KDCC Learning Program, please check this link: bit.ly/KalingaLearningProgram

Application Procedure
1. Fill out the online application form bit.ly/KalingaApplicationForm-Regular
2. Print the completed application form sent to your email
3. Prepare the following requirements:
- Long Brown Envelope
- Completed application form
- Two (2) recent 1” x 1” photos of child
- Photocopy of the original birth certificate of the child from Philippine Statistics Authority (PSA)
- Medical certificate of the child (indicating the child is fit to go to school)
- Additional requirements for UP personnel and UP students
Personnel: 2025 Certification of Employment of parent/grandparent issued by HRDO
Students: Current Certification of registration and/or copy of Form 5
4. Place all requirements in a long brown envelope with the child’s name (Family Name, First Name, M.I.) in the upper left corner of the back of the envelope. Write Year 2025-2026 below the child’s name.
5. Start submitting the hard/printed copy of the requirements to KDCC on the dates below.
- UP Dependents: June 16, 2025 (Monday)
- Non-UP Dependents: June 18, 2025 (Wednesday)

The KDCC does not have a deadline for submission of requirements. Applications are open throughout the year.
